Super honest, quick repair of furnace gas valve job, fair price. No sales pitch for an overpriced HVAC system. I will soley use J&S for my HVAC needs.

Great company!!! They are concerned for the well being of their customers!!! They are kind, honest, fair & thorough! We were being told by another company that it would 8 or more days before they could get our unit repaired!!! This company came out within the hour that I called and had the repair complete by 5:00pm!! Angels here on Earth, a true Blessing!!! So thankful and grateful for them!!! Ray And Elizabeth

J&S Refrigeration of Tucson, Arizona is not a bonded licensed contractor nor are they an LLC. Joel came to my home, diagnosed my A/C condenser issue which was under warranty. He agreed to do the labor for $1,000 labor plus any extra work. Joel dismantled the unit to get the warranted parts. Goodman distributor would not release the parts to him as he was not licensed. Joel brought the parts back, dumped the parts in my yard, told me they would not give him the parts and walked off the job. Leaving parts in my yard which no other contractor would repair it, I was force to buy a complete new condensing unit because of Joel cost me 3 times what it should have cost me. I contacted Mario of Goodman and also Goodman manufacturing itself, they both verified the warranty was good, but they do not work with unlicensed businesses. . Buyer beware. In my Opinion I would never recommend J&S Refrigeration. Joel never told me upfront he was unlicensed, thus could not do warranty work on Goodman air conditioning units. Because of this, the $1,000 warranted work ended up costing me almost $3,000.
Joel made a deal with my brother in law, to put in an A.C. unit and 2 spliters. They took our swamp cooler and put in just the two splinters. My sister paid $3000.00 the two units only cost about $800.00 each. Then after a month of trying to get him to come out and put in the A.C. unit he tells my sister that he's not completing the work until he gets $1500.00 more!!! We're in 115 degree weather and he's been playing my family all along. I will be putting in a report first thing tomorrow morning at the attorney general's office and reporting him.
Honest guy that came highly recommended from a friend. Quote for replacement of two HVAC units came in thousands less than competitors.
