Hamstra is a true model to the HVAC industry. Always putting the customer and what is right, first and foremost. Everyone at Hamstra, from the office staff, Installers and technicians are of the highest caliber. Bright, caring, passionate and hardworking true professionals in Heating and Cooling. The installation was perfect, even down to the fine touches, and with twice yearly maintence, I have peace of mind knowing that my system will be taken care of by the absolute best in the business!
Service Tech, Roman, was on time (which is GREATLY appreciated!) answered all and any questions and was really detailed. After a thorough cleaning, the unit was running better than expected. Roman was honest and professional. He also cleaned up as if he were never here. Thank you and we'll see you in the Fall!
Overall, I am very pleased with the outstanding customer service that Hamstra Heating & Cooling provides to their clients. The technician, Roman, was on time and he greeted me with a big smile and was exceptionally polite and friendly. I am a person that asks a lot of questions. This did not seem to bother him, as he answered and explained everything he was doing, thoroughly. Not being too technical, Roman, responded to my inquiries in a language I could understand. I will continue to keep my business with Hamstra and Roman!
Hamstra installed my AC unit 8 years ago and I have had great service twice a year. Staff is courteous and explains in detail what they are doing/did and if needed suggests a repair/upgrade. I trust their advice.
Austin was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained things thoroughly and made recommendations for our system but without pressuring.
Had my air compressor go out during the start of the heat which took time to get the compressor and parts . Unfortunately , this change in this kind of heat effects my health. Hamstra brought in 2 portable air conditioner to help at no cost to me to use during the waiting period! I cant even express how much of a difference and a great help that could have been a very different end to my story. Once the part arrived, Hamstra had the highly qualified , extremely knowledgeable and most importantly professional service technician to my home . He had the system back up running much sooner than I expected . I highly recommend this company. Thanks Hamstra for going above and beyond to help me .
Living in Tucson we have more than a dozen tenants relying on us to stay comfortable. With our extreme summer temperatures the dependability of our HVAC systems is of utmost importance. Hamstra Heating and Cooling has been regularly servicing all of our locations for more than a decade. We have a partnership to ensure that few problems arise and Hamstra is always promptly available should a problem occur. Let me add that you won’t find a more customer friendly company anywhere!
Jake was very professional and was right on time. He serviced my air conditioner and explained what parts need to be replaced. I’m very satisfied using Hamstra for my heating and cooling services.
Even though it was late in the day the technician still came and finished up even though it was already after the business day was over. He didnt rush and still did everything thoroughly.
Tech Jason arrived at scheduled time and completed the work within a couple of hours. Kudos for a professional and welcomed repair. Though, I must also mention that the purchased AC from your company has been a disappointment. The covered numerous parts needing replacement just before the five year warranty expiration and noncovered service cost has been frustrating to say the least. Five stars for service technician and three for the AC, average 'four'.
I have been with Hamstra since they did our home inspection. They service our HVAC equipment twice a year which is money saving and keeps our HVAC equipment in excellent running condition. Their service personnel are always on time and efficient.
I have been a customer of Hamstra for nearly 30 years and I have always received excellent advice and service, whether it was to replace or repair a furnace/AC unit, or to perform routine maintenance. Zachary recently checked out two relatively new roof-top units (about 4 years old) for me under the service program; he was very efficient and personable and I feel confident that the units are performing to specification.
I have had a service contract for my HVAC with Hamstra. They have always done a fine job maintaining my equipment. Good communication skills in scheduling and keeping appointments. As well as explaining and documenting in writing what transpired during the service appointment. If something needed repair or attending to they always presented us with the most cost-effective solution.
As usual everyone was very professional from the first confirmation phone call to the technician completing the job in an amazing 30 minutes! My replacement part was under warranty and they handled the paperwork and installed the part quickly with no loss of comfort during 100+ degree weather! Thank you Taylor for another stellar job and being so friendly and pleasant!
Juan was prompt, efficient and polite on a miserably hot day. In addition to giving my AC the once-over, he offered some good advice on lengthening its efficiency.

I went into their office about 3 weeks ago. My first great experience was meeting the receptionist , Lisa. I was cranky and hot. First she got me water then efficiently answered my questions. Even offered to share her lunch!!!The technician came to our cabin on Mt. Lemmon and determined the nature of the work could not be done by them. He did refer me to another company and I've contacted them. Hamstra employee was Taylor Law. Polite, professional, a definite asset to the company. They have my future business. Dave Thompson gets a ***** ++ review. He’s a been our technician for years so I can attest to the fact that he is a true expert on everything to do with air conditioning from swamp cooling to the latest technologies. He explains everything about each system clearly & when there is a problem or he suggests something to make our units run better, we trust what he says. In addition, Dave Thompson cares about his customers! True “gems” like Dave are too rare! I hope he’ll continue to share his extensive expertise and experience with the newer technicians because his level of knowledge needs to be recognized and treasured. Dave is absolutely one of a very good kind.
