Our AC went out on a Sunday afternoon at the end of June. I reached out to D & J and promptly received a call back from Eric, who said he would contact me first thing the following morning to get me scheduled. He was true to his word and Daniel was at my doorstep at 9:30. Within half an hour, he had the problem diagnosed and cold air flowing again. Due to the age of our system, we thought we would have to buy a whole new unit, but Daniel assured us our existing unit still has some life left and advised us to hold off on a replacement. I really appreciated his honesty and integrity. We'll definitely use D & J in the future and would recommend them to everyone we know.
They installed our new unit last year. Great family business. They returned to do yearly maintenance and all of their techs are polite, friendly and efficient. I love the texting and photos so that you know who and when is going to be showing up. I also referred them to a friend and they got her in the next day, even as a new customer.
I had a great experience with D&J Air Conditioning. The owner responded to my concerns immediately and the technician (Donnie) was very knowledgeable, professional and a genuinely nice person. Made sure everything was taken care of before he left. Highly recommend D&J!

I waited almost a year to write a review for D&J, because most AC companies can put in a new HVAC system—which D&J did well, and gave me a very competitive quote. What I was concerned about was the after-service. In Tucson, losing AC is like losing water service. I expect at least next day service on a June weekend. D&J gave me assurance of that and also included two years free maintenance, so I called them after nine months to do a once over before summer. Noah, the same guy who supervised the installation, looked over my system and even cleaned the outside coils, which NO company has ever offered to do. Dirty coils makes the system run inefficiently and shortens the life. Communication with the owner is great, I get fast responses to my questions via text.

The servicemen that we worked with for the repair and replacement of our heating units were amazing to work with. They were courteous, knowledgeable, professional and above and beyond just genuinely nice people. While it’s been difficult from a homeowner’s perspective to deal with bad units, D&J helped us navigate the issue seamlessly. D&J helped us make the best out of a bad situation. This is the second time I have used this company's service. They are so knowledgeable and meticulous in their repairs. They are professional and respectful. I can't say enough good things about them. I will continue to use them and no other.
Excellent service and professional staff - the entire installation was completed ahead of schedule. The crew that came were extremely polite and helpful. They absolutely earned 5 stars.
I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received from D&J. When my A/C went out I call them, they were at my house within 2 hours. I had an almost 40 year old unit on my roof that had finally died on me. Within 36 hours D&J had a crane in my front yard dropping a new unit onto my house. Total lifesaver!!!

D & J Air Conditioning is the best. My A/C went out last June. They tried hard to repair it but eventually I had to come to the realization that I needed to replace my 20-year-old unit. It was the height of the A/C season in Tucson but they worked me into their schedule and got it installed. It was worked beautifully ever since. I highly recommend D & J Air Conditioning. They are professional, on time and reasonably priced. They do an absolutely great job. Just want to reup this review. I can't say enough about D & J and the great job that they do. When our roof top Carrier Heat Pump, installed by D&J Air Conditioning in 2005 and maintained by them since, needed to be replaced in March 2021, we got some bids from other authorized Carrier dealers, but decided to stay with D&J because of their track record with our heat pump. The new Carrier heat pump is cooling our single story townhome very well and runs quietly. We have found D&J to be very responsive to resolve any issues or concerns we have had and that their service technicians are competent and professional. We highly recommend them. Everything about my experience with this company was beyond my expectations. The quality of the equipment they installed is top notch. The quote was fast and accurate. The install was way faster than expected and done professionally and cleanly. It was a huge bonus that all the people I dealt with were nice and easy to talk to. I guarantee I will be using them again soon!
D & J is a great resource for homeowners for one of the most expensive systems in the home. I have worked with them 4 times in various ways and with different properties and have been grateful for their honesty and integrity as well as their skilled service and great customer care.
