We ordered 2 Trane AC systems in December of 2022, expecting installation by mid February due to "supply chain issues". We were asked to pay half upfront, but weren't too concerned since they had provided us with excellent and professional maintenance service for the past eight years. Everything changed in March of 2023 when I started asking for the status of my order and estimates on a potential install date. After many reasons none of which had to do with supply chain issues Jason, the owner scheduled two install dates, one over the phone and another via text message and e-mail both of which resulted in a no show from his install crew. I have asked for a refund and have yet to receive a response.
We paid, no AC, no communication. We've waited half a year for our unit to come in. It's here.. why isn't it installed? We're polite, responsive, and paid. But we cannot get ahold of them. Install date came and went, no word. They were fine for install on property one. But property two.. we can't get a response. The Better Business Bureau would have to be our next step if we don't get an install date very soon. Jayson, please call Mike. We've waited plenty.
One rarely finds such an honest and caring company in today’s world. When we have problems with plumbing, appliance, electrical, or say, car repair, we may not have a clue who to call. However, if you need maintenance or replacement of an A/C unit, you have the perfect people to call. Mike, Bob, Jeff and all the rest did us an outstanding job replacing our ancient unit. Their moral code for doing business is beyond reproach and permeates all aspects of the process. So, if you need A/C work or replacement, I’d definitely recommend Air Tropics, 100%.
I’ve never written a review before but Air Tropics was so amazing I felt like I needed to tell everyone! During a stressful time of multiple home issues, repairs and dealing with various incompetent companies - FINALLY a company that was reliable, knowledgeable, and competent. Jason and his team care about their customers. Thank you Jason & the whole team for all you did to make my project go perfectly and for working with me financially so that i could get AC.
I've had two positive experiences with this company. They are fair, on time, and professional. The last visit they spent 20 minutes, diagnosed the problem as electrical, advised me to call an electrician and didn't even charge me for their time. Great company.
These guys are awsome. Jason took the time to come out and go over all of our options to move and install our new Trane unit. Explained everything and beat other companies on pricing by quite a bit. All the guys they sent out to measure and install the unit were very professional, on time and courteous. They knew our other AC had stopped working in the middle of July in Tucson and thats no joke. They did everything they could to get us running in a timely manner. Felt like we are talking to family when communicating our plans. If you need any AC or heating stuff definitely get ahold of Air Tropics. We have made some new friends in the process. Thank you to everyone at Air Tropics for going above and beyond!!! My family is cool again.
Air Tropics was recommended to me and was there for me when my AC died! Their Customer Service is excellent, Jason Ayers, Scott the Manager, Zack, the techs and installers are very knowledgeable, you couldn’t ask for better! When they tell you they will do this that and the other, they truly do what they say and on time! I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for us! I recommend them very highly. I switched from a company I’ve dealt with over 10 years! 👍👍👍👍
I have literally not once in my 29 years of life been treated so well and with so much compassion by a company. Not only are they a great business they are great people and you will not regret calling them for help. I know there's alot of people who say they got scammed on A/C installs or repair and I can assure you, you will not be by these kind people.
I have always been impressed with Air Tropics. We picked them because they’re not so small that we would be stuck in the case of an emergency but not so big that they would be impersonal. They also have a great reputation with a good friend who is in the HVAC business - he supplies HVAC companies with the equipment to install. He said Air Tropics was the best in town and that is what we have experienced.
They were great , on time and very professional . I had another company come out and say in needed a new system . Air tropics took a look and upon there inspection I did not need a new system . I highly recommend them for any and all Ac related work . I will be using them from here on out !!!
I was recommended Air Tropics a few years ago when my AC went out in the middle of summer. It turned out to be a simple (and inexpensive) repair and I was so grateful for their honesty. I have since purchased a maintenance program and I am very satisfied with the service and the text reminders I get.

Richard was very professional. He explained in detail what was issues were and was very detailed on documenting his processes. Felt like my A/C system was in very good hands. Was so happy I set up a preventative maintenance plan with Air Tropics.

I just had Paul here to check out my air conditioner and I can't tell how much of a pleasure it was talking to him and what a great person he , he so sweet, you have a keeper their Jason .
From the time Zac came to my house to give me an estimate to the installation of my air conditioner everything went smoothly and easy which is hard to do these days but Zac pulled it off!
Jason and his staff are extremely professional. Air Tropics installed AIr conditioning and heating in our home after we suffered a terrible family tragedy. His personal empathy and help in getting it installed has made our home cozy and comfortable for our little family. We no longer have to use portables. His staff is professional and their team work amazing. They took special care and there was no mess, dust or anything left behind. The staff is courteous and kind. There is no better company out there when it comes to heating and cooling. Thank you Air Tropics we are so happy and you are the only company we will ever use! Thank you Jason and all the staff at Air Tropics.
