Had an appointment to fix the air handler that was in the attic that was buzzing and not making the blower fan go on. Jason came during the time scheduled and troubleshot the unit and got me back up and running the same day. It ended up needing a new motor (I was hoping it was only needing a new capacitor) but he explained everything to me in detail that was going on and it made complete sense. I appreciate him explaining everything to me and he didn't dumb it down. He is a very Knowledgable tech and I feel confident in what he did for me was necessary to get it working. He was also able to check that my 2 units were operating optimally and added some refrigerant if it needed it. I would definitely recommend them if you need your A/C repaired or re-charged. A pleasure to do business with.

Reliable and fair
LJ Refrigeration has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion in desperate times of high temperatures and a broken AC. The office team was responsive to my call and got me scheduled understanding my situation. Paul called, showed up quickly got my system back up and running. This level of service and professionalism seems to be a lost art lately, but Paul and the team at LJ Refrigeration are exceptional!

These guys are consistently great. Their customer service and timeliness is just unparalleled. I’ve had a four year working relationship with them now and even just today one of their techs arrived at my home to help get my ac going again even tho my appt wasn’t until tomorrow. I just SO appreciate the consistency of this family owned and operated business and highly recommend them.
Jason executed the repair of my HVAC system failure with superb logic. Being a well-trained and astute technician, he began by inspecting the numerous wire connections accessible in the air handler compartment, and immediately discovered a problem with a pin & socket connector. Although this was obviously the failure point, Jason took the time to jump onto the roof (Jason’s humor) to complete a thorough inspection of the condenser unit of the split-system. The first-class services I received were much appreciated, and a reasonable service charge was the extent of my expenditure.

AC unit went down last night. We have a home warranty and made a service request. The assigned vendor called and said the earliest he could get here was next week. Hey, it's only the desert in July right? Called LJ Refrigeration and they dispatched Jason that same afternoon -- very knowledgable, professional, friendly. Repaired my unit at what I considered a very fair price. Can't thank them enough. Excellent service. They are outstanding!

LJ has serviced our properties for 15 years. The family company understands customer service. We had a compressor blow recently and within the day it was replaced.
We called LJ Refrigeration because our air conditioner went out in the middle of an heat wave. The receptionist was so nice and assured me someone would be out that same day in the afternoon. The owner and technician came and saved the day! They had the part I needed for my ac in their truck. They explained to me what happened and serviced both my units. They were so fast and had my ac unit running immediately. My family and I are so thankful for helping us out in a time of need.
I contacted LJ Refrigeration through their website and requested a service call. The company had fantastic turnaround and service. They had an opening on the same day during a heat wave in Phoenix. I was very happy they accommodated me during this busy season. The technician was on time and responsive to my needs. He asked me a few questions and immediately began to assess the issue with the air conditioner condenser. He informed me about the different freon types and the cost associated with repair and replacement. We also discussed various wireless thermometers and the technician educated me on these items also. I cannot thank LJ Refrigeration enough for their prompt, honest, and quality service. For all your heating and air conditioning needs, LJ Refrigeration will exceed your expectations.
Paul from LJ Refrigeration responded to my call right away and was able to fix my AC first visit. He was professional and explained to me the issue with my AC. He took the time to look over the system and confirmed everything was working when completed. I highly recommend LJ Refrigeration if you need HVAC work.
Somehow it has taken me many years to post a review for LJ. Sorry guys. I have been using them for 37 years and would never go anywhere else. My original units lasted for 36 years and recently went out. LJ promptly replaced them and I couldn't be more pleased, in fact Jeff was just here today for the annual check. The reason the old units lasted so very long was because LJ came out annually for check ups and tuneups, etc. This is clearly one of the best companies in the entire Phoenix area and I have and will continue to recommend them to others for HVAC service. They are always prompt, professional. courteous, and most importantly they know what they're doing. Thanks for all the great service all these years years guys!
Air conditioning always breaks on the hottest day if the year. Home warranty company uses another company that takes a week to make a service call. Called L J . Out the next day and finds it's a minor job and back with cool air in minutes. I have used them for over 6 years and thay are awesome.
