We used king mechanical about 3 years ago when we replaced 3 ac units in our house. At first everything seemed great, install was much quicker than we expected, but everything seemed to have gone smooth. The issues started about 2 months after install. The condensation pan to one of units started leaking, we called them out and they said there was a clog and that’s why it caused a leak in my ceiling. There should have been no clog, that should have been cleaned before it was installed. Then A few weeks later one of the brand new thermostats they installed stopped working, they pretty much told me I was on my own with that and I had to call the thermostat company and I ended up installing a new one myself. Now lets forward to November, so about 6 months after install, we try to turn the heat on down stairs and it doesn’t work, we call them back out. They came out and said they got the heat working, GREAT! fast forward a few months later we go to use the air where they fixed the heat… guess what the a/c doesn’t work 😂😡 we have had to call them out literally every 6 months because we can either get heat or a/c, but we can’t have both. Now it’s just about 3 years later, I have had 2 condensation pans leaks, and 2 out of the 3 brand new units do not work. They will not answer phone calls or texts. after this review I will also be reporting to the bbb and the ROC. Edit… we will give you a call, thanks for the response. The purchase wasn’t under my name, it was under my husbands name which is why it didn’t show in your system.
I’m writing about my experience with King Mechanical to save people from the expensive and frustrating mistake I made by hiring Frank Marquez and his company, King Mechanical, to install a new Trane AC unit at my home. I paid King mechanical over +$5K cash to replace my AC unit. A contractor working outside heard the loud clattering noise the HVAC unit was making and commented that something was wrong with my brand new AC unit. The owner of King Mechanical, Frank Marquez, was called. Marquez said he would send someone to evaluate the banging noise in the new unit. One month later, King Mechanical had not sent a technician to my home or even contacted me about making an appointment. Multiple calls over multiple months with the same result. He would promise to evaluate the loud banging sound on my brand-new unit. Then he would not show up. By this time, I was upset. I had a faulty AC unit and was asking for a service call from the company that I paid a significant amount of money to install. King Mechanical would not even send a tech to check on the problem. After 10 months of calling and texting without replies or responses from the owner of King Mechanical, I sent a certified letter. Only then was a repair tech sent out and he confirmed that the AC unit should not be making any noise as he heard. A month later, King Mechanical came out to “repair” my brand new AC unit. A little over 4 months later I woke to a constant, loud banging sound while the unit was running. I went outside and recorded a video and sent it to the owner, Frank Marquez. Something had broken loose and was banging around inside the unit. This is in the middle of the Arizona summer with 115-degree heat. (see video) Marquez’s response? “I’m booked out for 2 days. I can't drop everything for you”. What? In the text exchange, he repeated that he takes care of his customers and he stands behind his manufacturers. Great professionalism and welcoming
My Ac had a major leak in it, the air coming out of it felt hot and would not run fast, I made a phone call to about 6 places when I came across king mechanical, Frank scheduled me an appointment within the next few hours. The job was done with the finest materials! I can for sure say that king mechanical has yet now another satisfied costumer!!
My experience with king mechanical was amazing I have a little girl and we are very cautious because of Covid. Cris had his mask on throughout the whole procedure, mind you the weather is getting a little more sunny, yet he didn’t stop working until he was fully done. The old AC was from a different company I always had issues with it and they were never willing to come take a look at it, they continued to make silly excuses for the next 6 months. I got fed up with it and looked for a different company Kind Mechanical was able to book me an appointment and come take a look at it that same day !! Frank himself was the one who assigned me to Ayax who took a look at my AC and replaced it that night. I’m in love with it now everything was so neat and organized ! It’s so crazy that this company had such had workers!
King Mechanical is great. We had a dual phase heating/cooling system replaced and we were really impressed with the professionalism and pricing. Frank is very responsive and we were able to get something scheduled quickly. In addition, the team working on our house spent the time to make sure everything was working and our concerns were addressed. Overall, we were very impressed and grateful for King Mechanical!

Frank and his team are rockstars, they replaced 4 air conditioning systems for me in the summer of 2019. Price was fair and they were out fast. I would recommend them to any home owner or landlord looking for quality work and great pricing.
Usually I do not write reviews but I chose to write one for this company even though I did not use their service. I was in need for 5T heat pump replacement. I called numerous vendors in valley for best price. Out of all vendors I had one of the best quote from Frank. Frank was very professional and provided me with many options with different price bases. His quotes were very good. I just could not use them as our schedule had a little conflict and Franks was very flexible to make it work for me but I did not have much flexibility on my end. I would recommend this company based on Frank's honesty and professionalism.
The employees were very knowledgeable and down to the point. Frank gave me unbeatable prices- He was able to explain and address any comments and/or concerns before the process even started- Would highly recommend
Awesome company ! Had my AC for newly 2 years and suddenly broke down all of a sudden. I was recommended this company and they were able to repair it in no time . They had it back up and running within the guaranteed time limit . Runs amazing now maybe even perhaps better than before .

I had my brand new air conditioner go out and King Mechanical. Came out with in 4 hours and found the problem. A roof rat had eaten thru the wiring. King Mechanical found the traces of a rat. They repaired the chewed up wires, and i bought a trap. End of problem. Thank you so much Francisco and guys for acting so fast on this.

I had storm damage while away and came home to deal with insurance because of roof, AC/Heater damage with the casing open and return elbow vent shifted and detached from roof. My AC was only one year old. It was a Sunday and rain was expected soon. I contacted previous AC installers and 2 other companies. King was the only one who responded and offered to come out. My neighbor recommended them and I understand why. They are professional, very responsive and do a great job! Frank will work with you as well. He answered all my questions and concerns.
