David came out after I had scheduled an appointment for an energy audit. We purchased a home in 2016 that was built in 2000. Clearly the original owner did not have a proper owners home inspection conducted upon acceptance of the home. The air distribution was poorly designed and installed. The master bedroom would not cool in the summer or heat in the winter. Amazing someone tolerant this condition for so long. The upper floor over cooled and heated. In our energy audit it was noted a few items poorly installed and poorly distributed, massive duct leakage and poor insulation in the attic space and on the ductwork. The overall audit was very thorough and professionally done. We received a detailed report the following week which provided some recommended solutions and some optional solutions dependent on what we hoped to achieve. We wanted the ductwork sealed, additional insulation (lift & fill), modified air distribution, dampers and new air intake grills installed to improve the efficiency of the air flow. David and his team came out as scheduled and was able to knock out all the modifications and improvements within the two long days but very thorough. I would highly recommend David and his team. My A/C unit was having a lot of difficulty keeping up with the summer heat and something seemed off. I had Green ID come in and do an energy audit which revealed poor insulation in my roof and leaky duct work attached to my A/C unit. They came back a couple of weeks later and replaced all the duct work and added spray-in insulation and the difference is night and day. Where my A/C wouldn't be able to cool the house to a temperature of less than 84 degrees in the middle of the day to comfortably holding at 79 all day long. Very glad I contacted them.
Mike did my audit and was very careful and detailed. I have had audits in the past and I would recommend GreenID. We have some minor issues we may address but I was happy to be told we are not in bad shape so nice to hear honesty.

However back to overall audit, very thorough and professionally done. We received a detailed report the following week which provided some recommended solutions and some optional solutions dependent on what we hoped to achieve. We wanted the ductwork sealed, additional insulation (lift & fill) and revised air intake grills installed to improve the efficiency of the air flow. David and his team come out as scheduled and was able to knock out all the modifications and improvements within the day. Long day but very thorough. I would highly recommend David and his team. Not sure about the companies audit services but salesmen are too aggressive and rude showing up unannounced without appointments which seems extremely unprofessional.

Green ID should be your go to HVAC sales and service contractor! David Byrnes is extremely knowledgeable and will provide a thorough and complete evaluation of your current system or of your needs for a new system. Their prices for HVAC units and service are quite reasonable and definitely below the big companies you see advertised on TV, mailings and newspapers. The installation team for the new heat pump I purchased were great. They did a quality job, were professional and friendly and cleaned up everything when they were done. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend them.
I had issues with a hot room and had dampers placed. My bedroom is much cooler now. I would recommend Green ID. Thank you.
They installed five window shades on the side of my house and it has helped reduce the light and heat noticeably.

I heard about GreenID on the Arizona Midday show so I called them to do an energy audit. They sent Cory who was friendly, honest and trustworthy. He arrived with his name badge/inspection license and logo shirt. Along the way he would stop to show or educate me about something he found. He was very clean and careful not to make a mess. I provided my SRP electric usage history and he plugged that into his audit and prepared a wonderful presentation showing us the top recommendations for saving energy, and reducing dust on furniture. He took over 100 photos to show us the problem areas, so we felt confident what he was telling us is true. I was very thrilled with the energy audit experience and would highly recommend GreenID.
When GreenID came out and did the testing Mike the tester was accurate and explained alot of what he found. I was surprised when all the result came out that my house wasn't that bad and the recommendation that they had was what I was already thinking and they didn't try to get me to fix irrelevant things. GreenID will be coming out and doing the work within the next few weeks.
Green ID has been great to work with. David is professional, made sure we got the correct size HVAC units, and helped us correct insulation and air flow issues. We would highly recommend them!
Green ID was awesome! Very professional, friendly and got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend. We had them work on our commercial spa to get the hot lobby cooler and they accomplished that task for me!
We had Green ID out to our home in June to do an Energy Audit. I never even knew this existed. It was like stupid cheap too. There were so many cool little fixes that helped for better air flow. Our master bedroom is the warmest in the house which makes no sense since the kids don't pay the utility bills. David recommended many changes that should save us more than 25% on our utility bills. I can't afford everything right now so he helped me come up with a plan to get it all done over the next 6 months. Meanwhile we were able to fix the airflow problem right away which is awesome.
I met Green ID at the Phoenix Home Show and agreed to have an energy audit. The found and corrected quite a few problems. Since then I've had several A/C guys in the attic and they've all remarked on how well the duct sealing and insulation work was done (by Green ID). Thanks David!
I had an an energy audit done in December, 2016. Corey came out and performed the energy audit. It took him probably 5-6 hours. He came back to discuss what he found. He had taken multiple pictures of my AC units and insulation and explained the work that needed to be done. Although the AC and insulation work still needs to be done, I decided to have shade screens installed. The company that came out to install the screens was equally as professional. Green ID and the screen company arrived on time and took the time to do their job right, the first time. I would highly recommend them and will use their services in the future.
Had a new split system unit installed yesterday on a home I purchased a few months ago. Couldn't be happier w the service and quality of work. Green ID definitely went above and beyond. I had to leave my girlfriend home while they were doing the install, and at first was a little hesitant to not be around to check on the work. When I got home and looked everything over I was impressed! These guys definitely know what they are doing, and not like many other contractors I've worked with they left the place cleaner then when they got here!!! Would highly recommend.
I cannot say enough positive things about the entire team from Green ID. Pete came to my house for an energy audit, and spent a great deal of time with us to ensure that we understood the findings and what could be done to address some of the deficiencies identified. The time spent with us was a significant factor when choosing the company to carry out the work Pete suggested. I had a rather extensive amount of work completed on my home…new packaged unit, new ducts, new insulation, air leaks, etc. The crew arrived on time, and all of the guys were very processional and friendly…over the course of both days, I asked each crew member questions about the work they were carrying out, and every person was very receptive to answering my question thoroughly. David, the owner, also came out to the house to ensure that the work was being carried out to his standards. He jumped in to help the crew out. At the end of each day, everything was cleaned up. I am delighted that I chose Green ID for my home performance needs.
