Completes 90% of work and will gladly charge more to complete the job. During our HVAC inspection/service and altered tech to wiring concern on the roof. Thermostat wire from roof penetration to the unit was exposed, sun damaged and frayed, also assessed by tech requiring replacement as could short the system. Asked him to cover/protect wire (PVC pipe) but can only assume tech thought no one would look at the covered up wire. Not all wire on the roof was replaced, as we found old frayed wire by roof penetration upon review of work "completed". We alerted the company and tech came back out and said that is how they correct it as he can't replace all the roof wire as it would put a hole in the roof, although the wire comes through a hole in the roof. He talked to his supervisor and said he could splice the new wire in the attic, creating that hole in the roof he couldn't do before (he wouldn't be able to seal it), but that would cost another $300 approximately to not have any damaged wire exposed on the roof; already paid over $400 for the incomplete work. Talked tech and supervisors multiple times- they could care less. If you like a job almost but not quite done, then this is the HVAC company to call.
*STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS* I was told I would be receiving a refund check for the terrible service I received in early JULY. I still have not received my refund check, and nobody in your office WILL RETURN A PHONE CALL. I have left numerous messages with your answering service, and not ONE PHONE HAS BEEN RETURNED. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism and lies I have heard over the past 3 months trying to receive my refund. *I WILL TAKE THIS REVIEW DOWN IF MY CALL AND MONEY IS RETURNED. * -MOLLIE
Had the worst experience of my life with this company. STAY AWAY from this company. I was completely taken advantage of and screwed out of $500 dollars!! PLUS, they cant even return a phone. We have called three times now, and not one call back to help resolve our issue! STAY AWAY!!! . . UPDATE. Still waiting for my refund.. Its been 3 months now! Promise after promise, and nothing has been resolved. Cant even get a call back. . . ANOTHER UPDATE: Still have not heard back from anyone in the actual office!!! I have left 3 messages with the answering service. WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY, CANT EVEN RETURN A CALL OR REFUND MONEY AS PROMISED!!!!

Amazing services, constant communication would highly recommend this company. Phone call and text prior to their arrival with a photograph of the technical that is heading your way. Fair pricing I couldn't complain considering my A/C unit is over 15 years old and they knew how to fix and maintain my unit. Great job guys keep up the hard work. Thanks for keeping it Cool. 😎👍
Had annual heating service done. As always the technician was professional, cheerful and knew his job. Ihighly recommend this business for all your air conditioning and heating services.
I have used FH in the past and ended up signing up for the Comfort Club program. It has worked out well and recently I had a heater issue where it was on but no actual heat coming out. FH was at my house within 2 hours of my call, found some issues, and took care of them. With the Comfort Club it cost me nothing for the repair and visit. These guys are always responsive and professional. Chad, the Operations Manager, has taken the time in the past to address any concerns I had regarding a repair I had them perform with replacing my A/C coils. That repair was done well, the A/C is still working great, and I even noticed my electric bill went down as it was now working efficiently. I highly recommend them.
Fountain Hills Air was very professional and courteous. He also set up my NEST thermostats. I am very pleased with FH Air!

Did not fix the problem, only wanted to try and get sell me a new unit. When I ask for a quote I never got one. Called another guy he said it was low on freon. Seems to be running fine now...
I paid $465 for a 3 year contract, but after a few months, I told them I wanted to cancel it. They refused to give me my money back AND they cancelled the contract too! The reason I wanted to cancel is because they quoted me a price of $7,000 for a new portion of the unit, which was very overpriced. Another company quoted me $4,000 for the same thing. For this reason I feel they aren't a reputable company.
When our AC blew out warm air on a Saturday night after 10 p.m., we called expecting an answering machine. When a real person answered and offered to send someone out in 30 minutes, we were shocked. They charged our system that night and it has been fine. You cannot expect a better response.

Please read below: After seeing the review I posted below, John the GM/Owner asked me when a good time would be to talk. We scheduled a call and he spent 45 minutes on the phone with me. You can tell he is a very genuine human and was extremely attentive to the issues we were discussing. As in any business, the duty is to properly train employees to carry out expert business. We addressed the gaps and he vowed to make this right. Throughout our conversation he asked me several times if my concerns were resolved and I appreciated that as he didn’t want me to walk away still with a sour taste in my mouth. It’s not every day that the owner of a company wants to talk to you and genuinely connect to address our concerns. He personally drove our refund check to our house to ensure we received it in a timely manner. In addition to our refund he brought us a gift card for our troubles. He did not ask me to update my review, but upon this kind mans interaction, I will confidently say that he is the absolute right man for the job. I have faith that he will do what is right and ensure that the employees are properly up to speed from here on out. If we didn’t already have our system fixed, we would consider using his service again. ————————— Original Review: Had FH come out for AC service and was told that coils were corodid and small leak but could not find it because it was in the back. Had them come out a month later said that I needed a new system for $6500. Came to replace AC unit and tech said the prior tech did not measure and there was no way to get the unit up in attic. After some research I got a 2nd opinion and was told by two different companies and told just need coils replaced which is still under warranty. Contacted FH and and asked why there was no communication regarding previous warranty and got the run around. Asked for a refund of
I had fountain hills Air conditioning come out today. The repair person was very nice, I will give them that. However we were told that our whole AC unit needed to be replaced and it would cost us over 10,000.00 they could patch fix it temporarily and that would cost us 800 to 900.00. I called several other companies for second opinions because well TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for one AC unit. Every other company said my unit did not need to be replaced, I finally decided on a company to do the 300.00 repair and my AC is up and working great! I was being lied to here so they could make a huge sale! They charged me 89.00 to come out, not do a thing and lie to my face....Total scam!
Never used them before yet they are calling me telling me I have a credit from previous work. The previous AC unit was the original one.
They showed up said they couldnt do anything and still charged money for doing nothing. I understand i called for a service but all you did was look at it say you couldnt help ask for money and leave.
Very Professional knows what they are doing the tec that came to my home name was Keola. He was very knowledgeable and sympathetic of my situation. Having your air stop working in the middle of AZ summer can and is so dangerous. They came out and they sent some one who was able to help right away not just a sales man. Thank you
I've been with FH for several years. They are not the cheapest around, but not the most expensive either. One thing I can always be certain with them is that the quality of their work will be top notch. I've been impressed with every tech they've sent out. They also tend to use brands that are manufactured in America, while being able to offer reasonable prices that are comparable to their highly-rated competitors.
FOUNTAIN HILLS AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING is the worse rip-off company out there that is taking advantage of the public during these trying times. They performed work at my tenant's house for about $350 that cost less than $100.00 anywhere else. They charged me $88.00 for a part that cost about $15.00. They charged me over $100.00 to rewire about 2-3 feet of wire, which took less than 15 minutes. Their labor charge was about $250.00 for about 30 minutes, which is absurd! To make matters worse, the A/C unit that was repaired is less than 3 years old and is still under warranty. They took advantage of my tenant who clearly did not understand what was going on and in need of help. They did this despite being on notice the A/C unit was still new and under warranty and that my tenant was not the owner of the house or A/C unit. Stay very far away from FOUNTAIN HILLS AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING as they are dishonest and charge exorbitant rates!
It would be nice if the service person disposes of the old filter or any other droppings in the closet after entering the unit in the attic.
