First, Matt came out on a Sunday as the backup to the regular technician. We couldn't have asked for a more thorough and courteous diagnosis of our furnace problem. He also explained the various options for repair and/or replacing the unit. He presented the various models available and we decided to proceed. He left two space heaters for us to use.
First thing Tuesday, Chris and Jeremy arrived to install the unit and were very competent and professional. I enjoyed Chris' sense of humor. They took time to answer more questions that I had.
They work out of the Plum Boro office.

Replaced a heat pump and condenser with a Carrier Furnace and A/C unit, and went with Restano (after comparing bids). Restano's work is always top notch. Teams are always hard workers, efficient, and easy to talk to about the work being done. I would highly recommend them (and always do).

The furnace at my dad's house (he is 99 !) went out on Sunday afternoon. An emergency tech came out later in the day and gave us the news. (old unit, bad heat exchanger) After a phone call early Monday morning, two installation reps came to install a new unit. It was finished by 4 and the heat was back on. Thanks for the great service. Matt came by on Sunday, and was a big help, Austin and Jake did the installation on Monday. Everyone was great, Thanks to all !!

I called restano for a service call and was told that they charge a $69 service fee which is fine and standard. The guy who came out DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT! I got charged $150 for the guy to tape my wires together and not even give me the correct diagnosis. He tried to say my boiler was over 40 years old when I just got a new boiler installed in 2017 then he tried to say I didn’t have a flame in my boiler when there was indeed a flame then told me my stone valves would stop Dripping once the pressure built back up. Well it’s still dripping smh these Powell don’t know what they’re doing

Upon discovering that my basement was full of sewage at 9:00 pm on a work night, I called the first company (franchise on the list), but they couldn't come until the next day. My wife and I were so beside ourselves and needed the problem resolved that night. I then called a local company, "Restano" and boy was I glad I did. Within seconds after I called their 24/7 line, Nick the plumber...contacted me, asked what the problem was and indicated that he would be at my house within the hour since he was coming from across town. As soon as Nick arrived, he assessed the situation and took the time to explain the issue, how my system works and how he would attack the problem. Although the job wasn't easy and it took some time to clear, Nick worked extremely hard and tried various options until the problem was resolved. Within 1 hour, he fixed the issue and indicated that if it occurs again (within a reasonable amount of days) that he will be back at no charge to once again "snake the drain". He also explained other options if the "snake" doesn't work, which would include the need of a camera and more, but at additional "reasonable" costs for which we completely understand.. Nick also explained other options to receive discounts on any plumbing issues within the future, upon signing up annually to have my furnace cleaned and checked,. This would give us some peace of mind if this would occur again, but most importantly help with additional costs per an emergency call. Considering that I had similar issues in the past, I'm going to call their main office to make sure I sign up first thing in the morning.

From the very minute that I contacted them and from the time Nick left our home, their customer service was outstanding (above and beyond) and we couldn't be more pleased with Restano. Thanks Nick and thanks Restano!

Please don't waste your time on the national chains if you live in the Burgh. So glad Restano answered our call for help.

I don’t have a bad word to say about the service visit, the purchase process, or the installation. I feel I got a good value, and Jake & Chris worked 7 hours without a break installing the furnace and new venting. I’ll come back to them when the AC finally konks out, too.
