Tropical Oil LLC

I had an account for several years prior with this Company. Then moved back into the City of Reading due to the death of my Sibling. They made my updating my account so easy and effortless. And they accept LIHEAP payments which many oil providers won't take. They delivered my oil earlier than anticipated due to my being disabled and having a disabled child as well. The staff is friendly and very helpful when you need to ask any questions. I recommend them to anyone who has a LIHEAP payment approved. Also to anyone who wants a good customer service experience. Their oil prices are the lowest. But they aren't the HIGHEST either. They typically deliver within 3 to 4 days depending on how soon you get your order in. However, they have been reliable over the almost 10 years I have done business with them.

Use them for all of my oil heating needs and they are phenomenal. Quick turn around time and usually deliver a bit faster than scheduled. The kids 5 stars since I have used their construction business and the quote given was astronomical and there was no follow up.

Always had great service with Tropical Oil. Very accommodating. I just read some of the reviews. I don't believe for a second that they would laugh at a customer and then steal $50 from them & then try to charge them another $50. They are a respectable, reliable business that I've been using for the past 10 years until I switched over to gas heat. Definitely a good company to use.

Their customer service is extraordinary, but when it came to filling my tank, not so much. They came to my house claiming they put oil. I checked my meter and it still said I had 1/4 which is what I previously had. I called they told me my meter was probably broken. We checked the tank and there was no way they filled it up. I ordered 100 gallons which came to about 170$ they told me I had 30$ left because the rest didn't fit. How? If I had 1/4 and the tank is 250 gallons and I ordered only 100.well they ended up sending some guys over to check it and they insisted and put in my head that the tank was full and that the meter was broken. Even though i saw it was empty!That was 90$ out of my pocket. Bought a new meter and guess what!? It said I had less than 1/4! So they obviously didn't fill nothing up. They're liars and steal people's money which is not fair. Because I'm struggling financially and for them to do that? at the time I struggled to get that money to order oil. Will find a new company not someone who steals from their clients

They said my oil tank was full when it was not they never put the 100 gallons my mother paid for and ended up stealing 50 dollars. When we call customer service they just laugh at the situation and were trying to charge us another 50 to come again. So disrespectful dishonest and they steal customers money!

Not a bad place to eat, could use some modernization to accommodate its patrons. Not as people friendly as I would like. But overall a nice place.
