This was the first time using H&H. I had signed up for the preventive maintenance service. The technician (Thomas) was extremely professional while servicing my units. He did a very thorough servicing and provided a detailed account of his findings. My upstairs unit was not putting out much air. He cleaned the coils and the unit is blowing very well. Thomas was very friendly and represented his company very well.

The technician was great: personable. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to do anything because he wasn’t equipped to service an oil boiler, and didn’t know that’s what I had. It should be standard practice for them to ask the client if they have oil or gas when scheduling. I gave all the info to Home Depot… I recommend you try to remember to mention that when you talk to them. The challenge now is for me to find another day off; today was perfect because it’s a holiday. I wish I couldn’t give a rating because they might be excellent at servicing boilers, so, this is only based on having the wrong technician come out: gas when needing oil.

Overall happy with the new systems (Carrier AC, Bryant Furnace). Installers were great. Hope to get a long life out of our new AC/Heating systems which replaced 22 year old Trane Units.
A couple of minor bumps .
Had issues connecting the Honeywell Wifi Thermostats to the home network. Note that the homeowner is responsible for connecting Wifi models to the network (at least I was). The Honeywell T6 models provided are older and ONLY compatible with 2.4 GHZ wifi networks. Most people will not run into this issue, but as folks upgrade or get setup on newer networks initially (like my Fios Gigabit runs on 5.0 Ghz by default), it may happen more often. The sales/office folks said they had never seen this before. I spent about 4 hours researching the issue and only found out how to correct it by diving into the depths of the Verizon Fios customer support forums. The average homeowner will have no idea how to resolve the issue (which involves logging into the router and setting up a dedicated 2.4 Ghz "Guest" network on the system).
The brand new AC unit actually failed on day 2. The service technician resolved the issue but said the wiring on the unit from factory was loose which caused the circuit to trip and system to fail. Not the fault of the installers, and the issue was corrected immediately, but might be something that can be checked during install "just in case". The unit ran fine the first day.
I would still recommend H&H. Sometimes we all experience bumps in the road.
Follow up 9/20:
These guys have great customer service. Every follow up they took the time to thoroughly deal with and even received a call from the owner. These days I expect the "run around" when dealing with companies on follow ups, but they are outstanding.
