We had a contract. They came to check HVAC. Their employee took our thermostat off of the wall. It had NEVER been off the wall
He had trouble getting it back on the holder. Later on when I was checking the heat. The whole thermostat fell off the wall and broke. They refused responsibility and said it was in working condition when they left the house. This happened in the winter. They then would not fix it for a week!! I had to get another company to do the work and it cost me $1200!!! That thermostat had NEVER been off the holder since it was installed, and these two elderly Ladies certainly didn't take it off. They will no longer be doing any work for us. They are not reliable or reputable.

I called Jack Lehr because my heat had been down for 4 days and they were the first people to say they could come out. First the guy showed up over an hour late and when I called to find out where he was, was told the service tech was eating lunch and would come over afterwards. Then he showed up with an attitude like he didn't want to be there. He didn't troubleshoot at all. He didn't even look at any part of our system. He tugged on the wires in the wall so hard he broke them. Then went and sat in his truck for twenty minutes. Comes back and tells me the only thing they can do is sell us a $800 wireless thermostat. When I said no and asked what else they could do, he said "nothing on a Friday at 4pm". At that point I told him the service appointment was over and he should leave. He had the nerve to ask me for the $100 service fee. I told him he could have his boss call me. He walked out the door and sat there for another 20 minutes and then came to the door to collect his money again. Chris slammed the door in his face. I called their customer service and told them what happened and then started hearing multiple people start laughing. I asked the lady if she was laughing at me and she told me she wasn't, it was the other people in the office who were listening to our conversation. She said she would call the service manager and then call me back. She never called. He sat there for another half hour and then left. I never heard back from anyone.

2019 had a trane ac unit installed. 2020 went to turn unit on and did not work jack lehr came out to fix. 2021 same thing, went to turn unit on and did not work.2022 again turned unit on did not work again. Now 2023 AGAIN turned it on and did not work. Jack lehr comes back with a quote to fix everything it would cost 3000 dollars, after back and forth with jack lehr they come back with a quote of 1.075.00 to fix the problem. Ok well that being said how can I trust them to come and do anymore work on our system. They have used the excuse that we have humidity in our home which is causing the unit to breakdown. We have talked to 5hvac professionals and each one has said that would not be causing the problem. Jack lehr should have replaced this faulty unit the first year it broke down, even the one service guy we had here said...THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RED FLAG FROM THE BEGGINNING. Stay far away from this company they do not stand behind their customers, they will put the blame on you anyway they can.

I used to be in the HVAC business. I have used them for over 14 years - we have a service contract that is very affordable & includes annual Heating and A/C maintenance. Service is always thorough and professional - communication is great - then never try to sell you anything you don't need. I've never been disappointed.

Good group of people, straight shooters, honest, and they know their craft. They will work with you on scheduling and are extremely nice. They just performed maintenance on my oil furnace and its running great. I don't think its ran this good in years.

I hired them to install a new Mitsubishi heating and air conditioning system in my home, that did a amazing job. When they came to give me a quote they were very friendly and explained everything in detail. When the workers came to install the system they were very nice, very friendly, easy to talk to, I’m very happy how the installation turned out, I will definitely hire them again for future projects.

Filled with coolant two months ago and was told there was a leak but said well I can't find it so that's that. $650 for that and now two months later out of heat. I'm sure they thought I would ask for them to come out. They are predators and will take every last dime from you when it should have been done correctly to begin with and not a quick fix. Went with another company that helped us out and gave us options for our situation. Don't go to Jack Lehr!
