    My technician Chris is lovely and fixed the problem in a very short time. He spent extra time sharing knowledge so I could learn a and understand what went wrong. He even cleaned my a/c unit ( leaves, debris , etc )

    Anctil Heating and Cooling has been my go-to company for many years when I needed mechanical work. The latest was replacement of a small heat pump. They quickly analyzed the problem, gave a report on site with estimate, we approved with partial payment and the work was complete in one week. Great service from very knowledgeable staff.     We used Anctil Heating & Cooling HVAC contractor of Portland, Oregon to install an I-Wave-R purifier device ($400) on our Lennox furnace. Anctil sent a Technician who admitted he had no training on installing ($400 install fee) this device. Within four months of the I-Wave R install, our furnace started acting weird. We did the usual of swapping out the filter and still no change. We then called Garoken Energy Co. of Beaverton, our original Furnace installer. Within hours, the Garoken Technician identified the problem that the Anctil Technician overlooked. The instructions were outlined in the simple I-Wave install manual: “Always add a wire nut to the wires not being used (red or black) depending on voltage input”. These wires did not have a wire nut and were Arching randomly and caused the Furnace to malfunction. This cost us $180 to fix and Anctil Heating & Cooling HVAC contractor of Portland, Oregon refuses to reimburse and basically insulted us “how legit this can be” even though we provided the work order from Garoken that included the Tech Name and Number, I-Wave install PDF and Clear instructions for Wire nut use. Basically, if Anctil screws it up they take no responsibility to make it right.
    BTW, Garoken has been great to work with.

    Anctil reimbursed the $180 Garoken Maintenance fee after posting this feedback. No mention of the rookie job I-Wave installation cost of $400. I've given them a 3 Star. Lastly, yes they did call and we traded emails.

    Jake and Brian were great to work with through the entire process, from quote through installation. Their price for installing a zoned HVAC system was less than four other competitors quotes doing a basic install of a less efficient system.
    They worked to move my install up when my old furnace gave out and left me without any heat. I had a miscommunication with the installers on the placement of the thermostat, and they had someone out the next week to get it corrected.

    5 stars is not enough. Mark diagnosed my AC issue by listening to it over the phone and Chris made the repair. These guys are just awesome! Will definitely be the only company I use and refer going forward. Thanks guys, you saved me from heat stroke.
