If you are smart you will stay away from this company. They hire people that don’t know what they are doing. They take many short cuts and the work shows it. I would never recommend this company. They also hire rude staff. That Amber who answers phone is the rudest person thinks she knows everything. Don’t use unless you have money to pay another company to fix the mess they make. I would of given a 0 star if I could of.

Very happy with the service. Our air conditioning stopped working. Called numerous services in Albany and Corvallis. They were able to come with just 2 days (this is a very busy time, another service can only come three weeks later) and they did great job fixing our AC. The guy spent around 3 hours, including a trip to office to get a part as well as a quick show up of another colleague of his to help. I end up paying a bit less than $300 for parts and labor, which is super reasonable in my mind. Highly recommend!

Birchfield in Albany offers fantastic service from the initial call (thanks Amber!) to the installation or repair. They scheduled and installed a Bryant 4k BTU furnace a couple of years ago (great job) and just repaired my central air conditioning today (thanks to Jake for the house call). I cannot emphasize enough how courteous and helpful this business is. I've recommended them to many of my friends and they were equally impressed. Thank you Birchfield Heating and Cooling!

Two days ago, on Sunday, December 19th, my furnace would not come on. I called Birchfield and left a message requesting a service call on Monday, if possible. On Monday morning, Amber called, and then Jake came by and inspected my furnace. He let me know that my 24-year old furnace was at the end of its life. 24 years is a long time for a furnace and I was not surprised by the diagnosis.

I was, however, very surprised that they could install a new furnace immediately, and at a very reasonable price. It is now Tuesday at 1 pm, a mere 2 days later, and the new furnace is already heating up the house.

We called them at 8:00 this morning because our a/c unit wasn't working. They told us they would come out tomorrow to look at it. Four hours later they're at our home, fixing the problem and we now have a cool home again! They're incredibly fast, friendly, and affordable!

This company does not follow best practices as described in the installation manuals and your equipment will not last. if you decide to get an ac unit or heat pump insure they are purging and braising with a nitrogen flow as well as evacuating using a micron gauge, and isolation of the vacuum pump or your equipment will not last. If I could give this company 0 stars I would.

Called Birchfields to get a bid on ductless air. Jake came out and recommended what we needed and set up for the following week. The installation was done in one day. I was very pleased with the installers and the electrician. I called the office for a couple of questions and the office manager was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Quick and easy.

I'd give this company 6 stars if I could. They've always been really helpful and educational. The techs that come to the house and the office staff both are more than happy to educate, which is good for a homeowner. You get what you pay for when it comes to skilled labor, that being said, the price is very fair for the high quality work done. I shopped around quite a bit before initially using them.

I will only be using them in the future for my HVAC needs. Why go anywhere else when they're the best price for the best work.

Birchfield Heating is the most professional company I have ever done business with. I have used them for years and they are up front, honest and know their products and how to save you the most money! They stand behind their work and work very hard to get you the best deal for the best product to match your needs. They beat my lowest bid by $1600 when it was all said and done! I can't say enough about them, I recommend them to everybody.

Birchfield has given us excellent customer service and recently installed a new AC unit for our home. Gabe followed up after the installation to ensure the installation was correct; he made adjustment and installed a new furnace filter as a courtesy. We did get other quotes and Birchfield was by far the best deal!
