At country comfort, you get that personable and family feel that many so desperately want with a local business. Not only that, but they always look to address the cause in addition to the symptoms. In my experience, they assess your system and then proceed to explain what all is causing the immediate problems as well as what may need to be replaced to prevent maintenance in the near future (fix it now rather than wait until later). In addition, they are excellent and precise with their install work. They sold me a ductless minisplit for my office building and did an excellent job installing it in a way that looks nice and is not an eye-sore.
All in all, they do an excellent job and are transparent about what needs to be done as well as why.
I use them exclusively for all of my HVAC needs at this time.
The guys at Country Comfort are always so quick to respond. We had another company install a geothermal and gave a 5 year warranty. I called him for over a month when our unit wasn't cooling correctly. I finally called Country Comfort and they came out and diagnosed the problem and contacted the manufacturer and was able to get the parts and labor covered under the warranty. They bent over backwards for us. I highly recommend them.
We got a new Trane heat pump system from them. For the first time our summer electric bills with our all electric 2400 square foot home hasn't even reached $200.00. These guys were professional and cleaned up their working area before leaving. We even received extra air filters. My husband accidentally bumped the compressor while mowing and pushed it a bit. Jason came out and fixed us right up the next day. I couldn't be happier with the product and service we received. I would recommend them to anyone I like.
If you're looking to replace your HVAC or service an existing one, you're probably scouring the customer reviews trying to decide which company to go with. This was our family a few weeks ago. We were hot (our 26-year-old compressor had finally stopped), needing to find someone quickly, & not wanting to make a mistake with the HVAC brand or installer. After hours of reading online & reviews & dos & don'ts, the same advice was given on almost every online site I read: don't worry about the brand of the HVAC system as much as the installer. One site said that 80% of HVAC problems after installation are due to installation errors. You could have the top of the line system, but if it's not installed correctly, it doesn't matter. I set up appointments for estimates for multiple companies. The estimates went like this: the company shows up, I tell them our air conditioning is not working (not one besides Country Comfort asked what was wrong with it or inquired about it possibly being fixed), I tell them that our square footage is right on the cusp of a 4 ton unit & maybe we should go with the bigger size as our old unit was 3 ton (I was given quotes on a 4 ton unit without question or consideration of whether that size is actually what would be best. The bigger the unit, the higher the cost). The visits were quick & the estimates were fast. This is my experience with Country Comfort Heating & Air: Jason, who is a second generation owner with his father, who started the company in the 80's (if I'm not mistaken), showed up. He immediately asked about our old unit & if we knew what was wrong with it. I told him what a previous tech had told us, that the compressor was worn. Jason opened the unit & tested all the components & discovered after lots of sweat & testing that the unit was indeed unrevivable. He said he'd like to just get it running so we could be cool while we made our decision. This was such a nice and humane gesture. We hadn't even decided to go with his company yet, but his first concern was getting us comfortable, whether we chose Country Comfort or not. Then, he looked at the systems, educated me a little on our heat pump (which I had very little understanding of but wanted to know), he crawled up in our attic & looked at our duct work to ensure that everything would work optimally after installation, came inside & looked at our return vents & the layout of our house to help determine what size would best work for us, & then explained why a bigger unit isn't our best option (*bigger isn't always better*). He mentioned that there was tubing (forgive my general language here, because I can't quite remember what this was for) outside our outdoor unit that ran under the foundation of our house & that he would suggest moving it up through the attic for better accessibility later. He then later that day put together an estimate with different price options, with specific combinations of units that would give us the most efficient results. He was extremely neutral in not pushing us into one option over the other. But, before we had even received the estimates, we had already decided this was the company we would be going with, hands down. Installation day: Jason & Tanner showed up and went to work. They were hard working in hot temperatures. They did everything they said they would & then some. They were extremely diligent in ensuring that their finished product not only worked well, but looked great, too. They laid a new cement pad under it to ensure the unit was level. They ran the wiring up through the attic and covered it with a covering that blended right in with our house, they washed our old return vent & replaced the other, AND installed another return vent (*because air flow is everything, Jason will tell you). They swept our garage out, cleaned up all of the messes (and probably a few that were our messes, too), & loaded up our old unit. All of this to say, if you want the best, go with this company. You will absolutely not regret it. They know what they're doing and they are impeccable at doing it.
Very refreshing to find a HVAC company that is fair, honest and trustworthy! They were extremely helpful, informative and did not push to upsale. After discussing our issue we were provided several options with detailed information regarding each option. We made an informed decision and the entire process was smooth. Will continue to use this company for ALL HVAC needs. Thank you Country Comfort!
These guys are great! They are respectful and honest. I had a complete new system installed and have no complaints. I also recommend them to serval others that were satisfied with their service. I will be using them again for a remodel soon.
We have used Country Comfort since we moved to the Perkins area. We have been pleased every time they have been to our house. They are honest, trustworthy, punctual, and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone.
Country Comfort is the best Heating and Air Conditioning business serving Stillwater Ok and it’s surrounding communities. We have been customers for over 4 years and have always had excellent customer service EVERY time. Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed!
I bought a house with a poorly installed HVAC system. They came out and did several things to optimise the unit we had and gave us several options for replaceing what was there. They just gave us options, they didn't pressure us into anything. Such a polite and honest bunch of people. I recommend them any chance I get.
