We had a new AC/Heater put in last year through Triple Play. This year we made sure that we contacted them to do our AC Tune Up as recommended. I contacted them via their text message option and asked how much an AC Tune up would cost. When they responded they told me $129.00. That is exactly what I expected to pay as that is what was quoted to me. We scheduled the service and on the day of the service, we were told near the end of the service that the total had come to around $260. I was furious. I do not like to be caught off guard and not given full information. The person who scheduled my service and who quoted me for the AC tune up could have said "The AC Tune Up is $129, and in addition to that you will be charged a Service fee of $129." When I explained to our technician that I was unhappy and that I was misled with the quote, he simply said "I'm sorry, I understand" and HE AGREED that it was misleading. I am extremely disappointed in your sales tactics as a company who claim that you are a "Trusted HVAC and Plumbing Company in Oklahoma, and you deliver budget-friendly and expert services that you can trust". I do not trust you at all when you cant even be informative during scheduling a service about the exact charges that will be expected of your customer to pay. I did end up paying the $250 member charge and not because I look forward to working with you for the next year, but because that was the cheaper way to pay the bill today. After a year I will be looking for an honest company who gives full disclosure on thier charges. I just hope that your work performed is not as untrustworthy as your front office is. You did not make this right and therefore I do intend to inform my friends and family of this incident because I do not want them to have the same expierence as I did today when you do not have funds to just give away.

Update: The General Manager Kevin, called my husband within 30 minutes of me leaving this review and did address and fix my complaint. I do appreciate them doing the right thing.

Since it's been over two weeks and I haven't heard anything back from Triple Play after reporting my issue with them, I am thinking they don't care.

I had the "Home Advantage" package, which I thought was really good value. 2 visits a year to check up on your AC and your heating.

When the technicians came out, they spent a very long time checking my outside condenser, my duct work and the interior blower.

After about 2.5 hours, they informed me that my condenser needed to be replaced. It was a refurb unit, and it had been giving me issues over the last couple of years, shutting down and requiring a restart when it got really hot out. They were explaining to me that it seemed to be an issue with the closed coolant system that had some shoddy welding on it, and this had allowed contaminants inside the system. As a result, a repair would be unfeasible and that I just needed to replace it. So I wasn't totally shocked. The price they quoted for me, seemed fair - about 5-6k, as well as some replacements for capacitors etc. and I told them I was going to think over my options. I almost always get a 2nd opinion, and in this case, I'm glad I did.

Another company's technician came out to inspect the system. He was much faster, only about an hour and told me the issue I had wasn't anything to do with the coolant, the fan was connected the wrong way so it was pulling outside air into the system not pushing it out. He wasn't sure how this had happened, but the capacitor for the fan had been installed (or "fixed") with the wires connected the wrong way around at some point by someone who had serviced the system prior - to be clear, I do not believe this was done by Triple Play - just not spotted.

The fix cost me $147 vs the $6k Triple Play had quoted me and I asked the technician what the deal was with Triple Play missing something so obvious. He let me know that many of the experienced HVAC technicians in Oklahoma had joined Triple Play because they paid commission. I don't know if that's true or not, but it would make sense.

When I reported this to the office manager I was working with at Triple Play, she said that wasn't the kind of values they represented and that she would escalate it to her supervisor. Still haven't heard back.

They have very friendly staff, but I can't forgive them for 1) Missing such an obvious problem and 2) Not taking ownership when they were called out on it.

My advice is to absolutely get a second opinion if you are quoted for work by this company.

I will not be using them again.

I had a hot water heater issue. Jack and Austin Z. came out and assessed the problem and then offered solutions. They were both knowledgeable, patient, polite, and thorough. Thanks to them, we now have hot water!

A pipe in our home started spraying water on a Friday afternoon, forcing us to turn off all water to the house at the meter. Desperate, I called 9 different plumbing businesses, a few of whom were sympathetic but could not come out until Monday morning. Triple Play graciously took pity on us and repaired the leak. We are SO grateful and highly recommend them!

Daelon, Michael, & Joseph were fantastic! We had to get pretty much all of our plumbing replaced, from the street to the house and even under our concrete patio. The Triple Play team did excellent work and got our plumbing up and running in about a week!

Emergency service was speedy and they sent a legend. Michael Brown was a godsend of a tech and this man goes above and beyond.
Not only is the job performed in the quickest manner you are also educated on the why's and he shares more beyond. You can tell he is truly passionate about his work and has years of experience in more than what he is doing for you.

I was so happy to contact triple play and I undoubtedly and wholeheartedly recommend you give them a call and request Michael Brown. You will not be disappointed with the service, the price and the experience The Triple Play team brings.
