Hunter Super Techs HVAC, AC Repair, UV Lights Edmond OK

It is about 20/-14 outside and Aaron Fox was our technition and he was on time and was able to fixed our heating problem. Very professional, respectful and quite friendly! My husband said "he was great !" Since my husband is usually able to maintain and fix the issues we might encounter that is the highest of complement to receive! Aaron also before leaving offered any services we may need and this includes our AC with a 24 hour services which isn't offered much anymore.! . So we highly recommend HUNTER HEAT/AIR and especially AARON !! The Thompsons

Cody did a good job repairing our A/C unit. He was very friendly and professional.

Very fast and reliable service. I loged on to their website and was greater by customer service via chat. I described my problem and within 15 minutes a repairman was on his way. He fixed my heater for a reasonable price and was very professional in the process.

Great attention to detail from Jose and Chris. Thank you for sending out great Techs that care about their job. We feel like we get honest and reliable service where integrity and customer satisfaction matters!

Do not use this company. Had techs out 3 different times, and each time they would nickle and dime us to fix something new. Each time the unit would work for less than 24 hours, and I would have to have them back out for another service fee and something else that needed to he replaced.

Here was my experience with Hunter, take it for what you will:
I had a capacitor go out on my outside unit, which is a $10 part. Being an engineer, I knew the problem and was perfectly capable of replacing it, but was not able to get the part on a Sunday (8/20/17). With a pregnant wife and two toddlers sweating at home, I decided to bite the bullet and call Hunter heat and air. They told me it would be $69 for a service tech to come out and diagnose the problem. I figured if I could get my AC up and running on a Sunday it would be worth it.

The tech arrived within in a couple of hours and was nice enough (which is why they got 2 stars instead of 1). After "diagnosing" the problem for a couple of minutes the tech confirmed that the capacitor did indeed need to be replaced. To my surprise, he told me it would cost $380 for him to replace it!!

Needless to say I waited, bought the replacement capacitor, and swapped it myself (as I said, the capacitor was only $10). It's an easy fix, taking less than 5 minutes. I paid the $69 stupid tax for them to confirm what I already thought was the problem. He tried to charge me an additional $45 diagnosing fee for identifying the problem, but I refused to pay that portion of it without much argument.

In summary,
Be prepared to be way overcharged if you call out Hunter heat and air. They have one of the cheaper fees for a tech to come to your house, but they make it up by charging absurd amount for parts and labor (in my case they wanted $380 to do something that I was able to do in 5 min and a $10 part). If you are in a bind and need it fixed no matter the cost, maybe Hunter is for you.
Personally, I would recommend looking elsewhere for AC repairs.

I live in Ada, Ok. Hunter has always been courteous in setting up appointments and never sets them too far out.

Every tech has been helpful b professional and respectful. If I ask a question I get a real answer. They avoid techno-babble jargon as much as possible and explain thing very well. Techs educate you about what you have in simple respectful terms.

The maintenance program saves you money and if you Have automatic payments it is even cheaper. Are they the best deal In town? I don't know. For me though they are the ONLY deal In town I will be using.

My service tech, Joshua, was awesome. He was very professional, showed me some stuff to look for in the future and repeatedly went the extra mile during my service call. Can’t recommend this company enough, I’ll definitely use them again!

Hunter tech was friendly, helpful, informative and professional. He did a great job and suggested things to keep my unit running better.
