Hudson Heating comes to my house each year for maintenance on my furnace. They always do a wonderful job! I purchased my Trane Furnace from them a few years ago. The sales representative was exceptional and I have been very pleased with the furnace. The install was perfect!

Thank you Amie for being so patient, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly- she knows so much about furnaces! Hudson Heating saved us in the dead of this very cold winter when our 17 year old furnace died on one of those below zero days. We had a new furnace quickly installed with the expert skill of Banjo- he has serviced out HVAC for so many years- he feels like family! Excellent company, true to their word- highly recommended!

As the Facilities Manager for a large Hudson non-profit, I deal with dozens of businesses. Hudson Heating and Cooling has proven to be a first tier service provider for me. When we have a need, their customer service staff and technicians consistently exceed our expectations. I can rely on being treated like a friend by the their entire team.

After using another furnace company for over 15 years (and we really liked them) when we were told our 18+ year-old furnace needed replacing, we thought it best to get a few quotes before making a decision. We called Hudson Heating because they are locally-owned and recommended by Trane. Joe came out very soon after our call, appreciating that we were trying to replace before the old one broke down. We inquired about a high-efficiency unit, after another company told us it would be a big deal and extra money to go with the high-efficiency units. Joe said this wasn’t true for them and he quoted the units including the installation costs. His quote came in considerably less than the company we previously used.

I called and asked some questions and talked to
Amy who took a lot of time to answer my concerns. We decided to go with Hudson Heating and they came out quickly and installed the new furnace and new air conditioning unit. Austin and Banjo were very professional and thorough, explaining the new system and thermostat. They were also very patient as our dogs barked at them the whole time. They got the job a bit quicker than anticipated.

As they did not start up the new A/C unit at installation because it was February, they said they would call us in the spring to arrange the start-up. They were true to their word, as Jodi called us and made an appointment to have someone get the A/C start up finished by the end of April. Austin came out and in less than an hour had the unit going.

My experience with Hudson Heating is that they were quick, knowledgeable, professional and very reasonable on the cost. I would highly recommend them.

I had scheduled an appointment because my AC broke suddenly, the appointment was scheduled from 9-12pm however the person showed up at 2pm after I had rearranged my workschedule. Once the guy, showed up, he immediately went to the AC checked the part (all while not telling us what was going on with the unit) and then stated he had to order the part and it was to arrive the next morning. Someone was supposed to come that day to fix it however the part apparently never came and they were very noncommunitive with what was going on. (Still had to pay their 95 service fee :/) Luckily I decided not to pay the whole thing upfront and I am so glad I did not, because they never communicated and informed what was going on or when they could come to fix it. I ended up calling Jackson Comfort Services and went out to buy the part personally and scheduled us to come fix it the day I called them and check if other parts were not working AND waived the fee to come out! DO BETTER HUDSON. :(

We were in need of a complete system replacement for our 23 year-old home. Amie & Banjo helped us make a well-informed decision to convert to gas/electric from an all electric configuration. Our job had multiple zones, furnaces & condensers making it more complex than usual. This team saw us through to the end, were quick, responsive and thorough, making sure we were completely satisfied with the comfort of our home and confident in how to best use our new programmable thermostats, a high-tech upgrade from our previous system. I would highly recommend this company.

My husband and I have used Hudson Heating exclusively for over 20 years and in all that time they have always given us excellent service. They installed our new furnace and home AC unit in 2002 and they are both still running strong. As far as we are concerned, they are the only game in town.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for our HVAC work. Joe, Amie and team are fantastic and always go the extra mile for both our personal and small business needs. We’ve had 3 furnaces installed by their team, along with various troubleshooting experiences and regular maintenance, and everything always gets completed quickly without a hitch. Top notch clear communication and service.

I researched HVAC equipment and installers and concluded that the installation process was by far the most important component of a furnace/humidifier/filtration replacement. I interviewed and met with Ms. Amie Ross of Hudson Heating Company [HHC] at my home [Amie really knows her stuff!]. She was very informative about the equipment,options, and replacement process. She measured every room in the house and detailed several equipment and price options. I happily decided on an American Standard furnace, Honeywell humidifier, and air scrubber competitively priced. We scheduled the installation, and Amie took it upon herself to register our equipment for manufacturer warranty purposes to guarantee coverage. A week later Banjo, and a fleet of other technicians, were scheduled for the install/replacement , and did a fabulous and professional job! Started at around 8:30AM and completed by 3PM. Banjo went through the features of the equipment and maintenance schedules with me. Being that picking the installer/contractor is the most important facet of the replacement process, HHC was the perfect professional selection for the job! We have been having problems with our HVAC system and called Hudson Heating Company to take a look at it and let us know what our options are. The woman I spoke to on the phone indicated that our problem sounded pretty bad and that she’d send over someone with a lot of experience with HVAC problems. The person who arrived was obviously inexperienced and was unable to articulate what our problem actually was, much less give us a quote on what it would cost to fix. When I called the heating company a day or two later I was told that no one knew why he was the person to come to our house and that his notes about the visit were incomprehensible (their words, not mine). The person on the phone was very apologetic and promised to send her most experienced person the following Tuesday afternoon. My wife and I shifted our schedules to be home for the appointment, only to be told late that afternoon that the person wouldn’t be arriving after all, despite our having booked an appointment.

Overall it was a complete waste of $85. We won’t be dealing with Hudson Heating Company ever again.
