We were having a problem with our heat not shutting off suddenly. Even though it only happened once, it worried us. We called to have our furnace serviced and also asked to have our thermostat replaced just in case ours was not working properly. We had purchased a round, good brand at a hardware store that they installed. A few weeks later, the problem happened again on a Saturday morning. I called and a service man came out shortly. He could not find anything wrong, so he again changed the thermostat again, this time he installed a new digital one. This was a nightmare....we had to turn it on AND OFF everytime. So scary. We turned it off on Monday morning, I drove to the Beckworth office and talked to Justin to explain what was happening. He and Mr. Young came right out, quickly diagnosed the situation causing the problem with the thermostat, fixed it with a simple solution, and it has been working perfectly since. It was not the thermostat, but cold air behind the wall where the thermostat was located and as soon as it was plugged, we were warm again and everything working normally. Thank you for diagnosing the problem, and not just trying to sell us a new furnace.

Dave whitehouse came out at 9 pm on thanksgiving to fix our furnace. We came home from the family’s to a 40 degree home. It was freezing. Dave the 24 hour service technician promptly returned my phone call and was to the house in less than 30 minutes. Within about 30 minutes after that we had heat again. The gas valves were bad. Amazing service from an amazing guy. Very happy with Beckwith and would recommend them to anyone.

Came home from work the day before the polar plunge in January and my furnace sounded like it might take off through the roof. I called Beckwith immediately and a tech was out in a few hours. He had to go get the part he needed and within hours I had heat again. Just in time to fight off the cold temps. The tech was very friendly and understanding and I appreciate his quickness to resolve my issues with my furnace. Thank you!

I would not deal with this company ever again. I had them service my air conditioning and heating this summer to make sure my heating system was ready for winter on 8/7/17. On 1/5/18 my furnance quit working. They mad an assessment and it was supposed to be repaired. They charged me $125.00. 3/2/18 it went out again. On 3/3/18 they came and said breaker was flipped charged me $95.00. On 3/4/18 furnace is out again. 3/5/18 they come back and want to charge me another $517.00 for a board they should have found On 1/5/18. I still have no heat. I had to call another company to get some heat in my house. I have been with them over 18 years. I will never deal with them again.

I had a leaky pipe on my boiler system. Beckwith came out to take a look. After looking at the leak, the technician wanted to see the boiler. He opened the release valve, but it wasn't draining properly. So, he hit the valve with a hammer. This broke the valve off and resulted in water leaking on my basement floor. Since the parts store was closed at the time of service, I had no heat for the night (in winter). They were nice enough to bring over some space heaters. However, I had to duct tape a funnel and hose to were the new leak was so it wouldn't flood my basement during the night because he couldn't stop the water without shutting it off to the whole house. Long story short, they came back the next day and fixed what they broke, plus a bit more as one of the water cut off valves was corroded (It is still unclear to me why they needed to try and drain the system that evening if the part store was not open, they couldn't do the work then, and my other valve was corroded). They covered $300 for the part they broke, but I still had to pay a $70 diagnostic fee and $475 for the extra work they did. In the end, I never got a clear estimate on my original problem, until I called in and made several requests for estimates. They quoted between $700-$1500 to fix my original issue. I called another local plumber who completed the job for less than $400. I gave the second star because at least they fixed what they broke. However, they should have at least waived the diagnostic charge since it took them several days to get an estimate, I had to contact them several times to get the estimate for the original leak, and I had to pay extra for water and electric that evening. (TLDR: Moral of the story, go somewhere else for better work at a fair price).

They have responded in a timely fashion. They recharges my system on the first service call, but there must have been a leak so they came out a couple of months later to recharge and test. They said it was fixed but I guess I will have to wait to next summer to find out.
