Edwards provided excellent service on my old hvac for 25 years then installed a new unit that is perfect. They went above and beyond in making sure it met my home's specifications. My power bill dropped so much duke energy thought my meter was broken and installed a new one. I would recommend them to anyone that wants excellent service.
* editing to add, their response is total bs. They straight up lied to my face about the problem and left with nothing other than the lies. Called webber heating and air a few days later and they fixed my issue and repaired Edwards previous work, ac went out the summer prior to my heat not working, that wasnt done correctly and could have caused issues once summer came back around. When they called for payment they were rude and would not let anyone get a word in. I never received the bill untill after the phone call so they need to check themselves on that!* Stay away, not honest people. Will break something then over charge you to fix. Ended up havin to call another company and found out this company did nothing but lie.
WONDERFUL COMPANY, SERVICE AND PEOPLE! Last minute, on a Friday evening when temperatures dropped below freezing, I had NO heat! Michael Warren came out to my home in under an hours notice, and within minutes found it was a simple issue and had us back up and running! My friend, Maggie Morrow had seen my plea for help on Facebook and jumped into action, both of them are my heroes! My house was down to 50 degrees! Tonight is going to drop into the 20's and now I have heat again! CALL THIS COMPANY ANYTIME, THEY ARE WONDERFUL!
Disappointed....... So my a/c went out in my house this last week. I called Edwards Metal shop bc a friend has used them in the past and they are a small business. This morning the tech came out bc my compressor was bad. The new compressor was far smaller than the one in the unit. so I just simply asked him if they had sent the right one bc I have no idea on a/c repair. He said he would check and I left for work. I called the shop and spoke with the owner and the first thing he said was “I told the guys to pack up and leave”. In shock I asked why?? He said he wasn’t doing business with someone who questioned the work of his guys. I said I didn’t know and was just asking a question since I was spending $1000+ just for the installation. He continued to be extremely rude and finally hung up on me. I will never be doing business with them again and recommend if you do, don’t ask questions........ sad when you try to support small business and this is the treatment you receive.
STAY AWAY!!!!! they came out two different times to fix the same problem, charged 700 the 1st trip, 300 the second, 2 weeks apart. 3 months later leaking again...I had to pay because there "professionals" couldn't get it right in 2 trips out and $1000 bucks down the drain!!! Ended up going with Reedy's very pleased with the service.
Google the following: "Beware of Jim Edwards", "Jim Edwards Datsun", "James Edwards Datsun". This guy has been scamming members of the Datsun community for 15 years. This is his business, so I dang sure wouldn't trust him.
