The service that Jon S. and Giles Gent provided was exceptional. They were thorough, explained the entire process and quick. They arrived on time and were extremely respectful of our new home ensuring not to damage anything. I would certainly use them again!
Jon S. and his assistant Giles did a great job. Jon was very informative...and told me everything I wanted to know about the current cleaning and future things I can do to avoid further staining. He was polite and helpful and very positive about my old, old carpet.
Service techs have all been great..professional and very nice. However, door wires have come off track twice once due to improper installation of mounting bracket. Torsion spring failed leading to this last visit...could be just unlucky...Sears covered cost of spring but cost $200 in labor this last visit. I'm a little tired of spending money to repair items that should last 20 years..not less than 4 as in my case. These issues do not reflect on latest service tech.
Highly recommend service tech Clarence. He has cleaned our very dirty (red dirt) and stained (from kids) carpets twice. He is very professional, courteous, polite and efficient. We had morning appointment, he called 20 minutes before he got here, and was finished within the hour.
Allen and crew arrive right on time and got straight to work. I told him that I was raised in the family business, Gray's Carpet Center in Northborough, Massachusetts that my father started in 1943 and which is still going today. I said that I would be watching what he did carefully, as I had done this work myself years ago. Of course I was joking with him. Allen was professional and knowledgeable and did an amazing job of cleaning up the areas of most concern, the traffic area entering the dining room and kitchen. He was careful moving furniture and thorough in cleaning the 3 rooms, dining, living and bedroom. I was very pleased with the job he and his helper did. Thumbs up!
Did not like the cleaning. Sears contracted out the job. Did not mention this on website when I made the appointment. The cleaning was not done with the typical steam cleaning but with a rolling brush device that did not clean the way I was expecting. Good luck using Sears, I will NOT do this again.
Allen was very personable and respectful when he came to clean my upholstered sofa and ottoman. I would highly recommend him and will definitely call Sears for future service. He made sure he cleaned my furniture to my standards!

In addition to his exemplary professionalism, Clarence was personable and didn’t get riled when I asked him to redo areas or asked him questions while he was working. I would recommend Sears Carpet Cleaning — specifically, Clarence to anyone and everyone that I know.
I am writing this bad review for this company because the technician Paul did such a lousy job. Two guys showed up started setting up. I had to run a quick errand and would be back shortly. As I left they had been there maybe five minutes and were pretreating the carpet spraying something from a low pressure gun. As i returned twenty minutes later they were wrapping up. I asked the technician how they could finish so quickly?, when the other guy a few years back spent two hours and really scrubbed the carpet? His response was that he was really efficient! They did spray some liquid on the carpet and they appeared to have scraped the wand across the carpet surface. But as for taking any dirt out of the house and into the tank on the truck they failed miserably. I would not use these guys again. They said that if I was not happy that they would come back out. But I was renting this property and was on a deadline so that would not work. I had to give it a one star to post this review.
I've had the same problem for a while and had multiple service visits prior to this. Jon was the first to exactly identify the problem. He was thorough, efficient, neat and informative. I will recommend him to my neighbors and plan to request him for my service needs in the future. Truly outstanding service! Thanks so much.
