Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning

I booked a carpet cleaning through Sears and it was a special 3 rooms for $99, and I added my staircase. The total I was quoted was $164. They showed up and looked over the rooms and then told me it would be $495. The man said he had to add $75 per room because they are over 200ft and another charge for the “cleaning agent”. That is totally bizarre to me. He said he would not move furniture or clean under the beds, so this left hardly any carpet to clean anyways. I politely declined and will be going with another carpet cleaning company.

We called to schedule a steam cleaning of a recliner, a couch, and an area rug. Prices were great, we were told that all three would come to a total of "X". Got online and read a bunch of reviews of people claiming that they were told one price on the phone, but once the technician arrived, they were upcharged significantly for incidentals or came without the proper equipment to do the proper cleaning. We thought...hey...that's gotta be a fluke, how could a company get away with doing that type of thing?
SURPRISE! Technician came out saying the total was going to be "X+Y", and he didn't come to do a steam cleaning, he came out with a glorified vacuum cleaner. News flash, I can vacuum my own carpets, we asked for a STEAM CLEANING and were told all three pieces would come to X, and the technician is saying only two of those things came to X and that the third would cost Y. This is NOT miscommunication, this is completely shady service dealing. The evidence is in the frequency in which this happens to other people. Now mind you, Sears is probably going to see this and offer me a way to get this looked into further, which is amazing, seeing as how no one needs this looked into further; we need this type of offhanded dealing dealt with permanently.

We've used Sears Carpet / Green Clean for over 15 years. For the first time in (over 15 years) I am unhappy with the service. In our main area (busiest / most traffic) our technician failed to move our couch, which has always been moved without asking. When asked about moving the couch the technician said that we didn't specifically ask to move it / clean under the couch. When mentioned, the technician did not offer to fix the mistake and was ready to leave. Additionally, he was trying to charge us an extra $30 for a stairwell, after I was told that could be counted as a room. (He did fix that). I called to share my dissatisfaction, the manager did offer for the gentleman to come back, which I was not interested in, as he didn't seem willing to correct the oversight. I have kids, dogs and we prepare to have our carpets cleaned by keeping kids / dogs away AND moving furniture. It is an inconvenience and disruption to my household to make this happen ALL over again. I was not offered a refund (even partial). Poor cleaning service and even worse customer service. After 15+ years of being a regular customer, I will no longer be using Sears Carpet / Green Clean.

Finally so happy!!! I've been trying to get my dryer vents cleaned for almost 6 weeks.
The Hurricane happened, then no power for some time & life.
Finally an appointment that was completed!

Professional,timely an example of everything you'd want when strangers are servicing your home.
Even the woman making the appointments was also very nice and took the time to help me find a good time that worked for us.

I've used Sears in the past and will definitely use them again.

Let me start by saying that we have used Sears for years for carpet cleaning and they have always done a phenomenal job. However, these two guys went the extra mile.

Allen and his partner did an excellent job. Our floors have never looked better. They arrived on time in uniforms ready to perform the job. They were courteous, knowledgeable, quick and thorough. They even overheard my wife and I discussing the need to have out hardwoods cleaned and buffed and were able to offer the service as well. We immediately booked it with him.

In short, Allen and his partner ROCKED we will surely use them again.

We recently had our carpets cleaned by Sears. Chose them based on reviews. Jon S. And Giles were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Prior to beginning, Jon explained everything and made us feel like we made the right decision choosing Sears. Even my dog approved of them! When they were done, the carpets and couch looked and smelled clean and fresh. Would definitely use again. Thank you!

Giles G. was professional that asked all the right questions to save me money by not over charging me. He worked quickly and efficiently. Duct work was done in under an hour. Highly recommended! Martin and T clean the carpets with pre-treatment, steam and deodorize my home expertly. Very happy with the results.

What a great experience. Giles called and told me when he'd be at my home so there was no waiting around. He cleaned my dryer vent and was gone in no time with no mess at all. He was super nice! I'll be using this service with Sears again.

The team members were timely, polite, and worked quickly... leaving my carpets looking clean and fresh, and getting all my ducts cleaned as well. Jon came in to clean my air ducts and after a minor equipment issue (which he left, fixed, and returned in record time) my whole house was cleaned. He assured me he would have the work done prior to the carpet cleaners coming and he did. I have used other services before but would absolutely recommend Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning to everyone. Excellent service !

I just had my carpets cleaned by Giles G. He did an amazing job! He was very professional and courteous and told me exactly what was and was not possible in terms of expectations. I highly recommend him and will ask for him again for my next cleaning.
