Extremely satisfied with the job Rick and his team did. We needed our A/C unit replaced and shortly thereafter our furnace motor. This was quite a project that took us by surprise and Rick walked us through every step. Don, the technician who first came to assess what was wrong, was so helpful, honest and trustworthy with his diagnosis. I would highly recommend Rick and his team. They were quick, responsive, professional, cleaned up so well that we weren't even sure they had come to do the work! You have our business forever!
Quick and reliable service. Same day service with a failed heater. (but I did have a previous relationship with them , so I am unsure if that helps). Love all the staff, from front desk to the technicians, they are all very friendly and informational. Of course the price always stinks with getting a heater fixed, but compared to anyone else, I would say they are very fair. They are the only company I know that is less than $100 for diagnostic, and if they have to do any repairs, that fee can go towards the charge. No one else does that. And they don't charge overtime. highly recommend if you are in the Rochester area. Family owned companies are always a much better catch than the bigger corporation companies we have around here.
Amazing from start to finish! When we were told that our furance was on its last life, we started calling around for estimates. Hi-Qual was the third company to come out for an estimate. Bill and Ty were so informative, professional and kind. My husband ran late from work the day of our estimate, so Bill came back out a few days later to go over everything again with him.
Their pricing is fair and competitive and their products speak for themselves. Everyone that we dealt with was so knowledgeable and willing to explain things. They were prompt and cleaned up after the installation.
Dana was also amazing. She always got back to me so quickly, fit us into the schedule immediately and even offered us heaters for our home while we were without heat.

After finding out that our central air wasn't working, Hi-Qual had a technician out to our house, and within 20 minutes he had our system up and running perfectly! A huge thanks to the technician, Mark, for his friendly and professional attitude, and for having our system back in shape in no time! Highly recommend!
Check your invoice carefully - I was initially charged for 1 1/2 hours of labor when the technician was working for 55 minutes. Luckily I checked my phone to confirm the time the technician called me to say that he was on the road to my house (@5 min before his arrival). He checked his phone and claimed he accidentally saw the duration of the call rather than the time the call was placed. I honestly don't remember being on the phone with him for a minute and a half....
I don't know how their fees compare to other companies, but here's the breakdown: $79 for the service call $100/hour labor $69 for the "hose kit"
In retrospect, I shouldn't have agreed to have him "check over the rest of the furnace" since it took extra time that put us into the 1 hour of labor zone.
I'll go elsewhere next time and ask more questions about all the applicable fees.
I contacted Betlem Residential Heating and Cooling to evaluate and repair our A/C. I explained our situation and requested some notice before their tech was scheduled to arrive. Their tech arrived without notification and tried to convince me that the system had to be replaced. I told him we were not going to buy a new system, and he tried to scare me, telling me the compressor was probably not going to work and gave me the - "no parts available due to changes by the EPA story." He finally gave me a quote to fix the system $1443.00 and the next day I received a call from their sales department trying to quote me on a new system.
So I called a competitor HI-Qual. They sent a tech over and he highly recommended we try fixing the system. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and he told me that yes the compressors for this unit were still available and showed me online. He fixed the crack in the copper line, recharged the system and charged me $464.40. and the house is nice and cool. Thank you Hi-Qual.
Finaly a contractor that does what they say they will do. 10 out of 10. Brian, Ron, & Tom where out standing. Pleasant, neat, meticulous. Over all Excellent. Highly recommend!!!!!
