I'm sorry to have to post this negative experience with Dazco Heating and Air Conditioning. It's unacceptable that the installation of our central AC system was in disarray, and that they failed to obtain the necessary permits, resulting in a stop work order from the town. Even worse, Dazco took zero responsibility and blamed your neighbors for reporting the work. Left the violation cost on us.

To make matters worse, the cuts in the floors and ceiling were messy, and in the first month of using the system, no cold air was circulating. When we contacted them, Dazco added freon, but the same issue occurred a couple of weeks later, and they refused to come back. Their unprofessional behavior on the phone, where they accused me of yelling and using impolite language, was unacceptable. You were left with no choice but to ask them politely not to bother and to handle the issue on your own.

To add insult to injury, when we called another contractor, they found that there was not enough freon to begin with, which was causing the lack of cold air. When Dazco arrived the next day, they claimed that there was nothing wrong. Despite being asked not to return, they failed to understand that their services were no longer required, and no further assistance was needed.

It turns out that there was a freon leak, and Dazco had used the wrong piping for the freon. This demonstrates their lack of knowledge and expertise, which could have caused significant damage to your system and put our family's safety at risk.

Overall, it's clear that Dazco Heating and Air Conditioning is not a reliable or professional company, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Steve at Dazco is an unresponsive and at this point we believe dishonest. We called them to do some thermostat work and service our air conditioner compressors got name from our real estate agent. Steve talked us into replacing the compressors said they were end of life and service would cost almost as much as replacement. We were naive enough to let him do it. None of the four units he installed work and we have been calling Steve for weeks and he does not respond. Our old units worked last year no problem they were old but they worked. He ordered units that were too big for the space and we had to take the fence down and move the pool pump which is also now broken to get the units he ordered in. place. Not a single one works. Never even finished the thermostat work. At best Steve is not competent and unresponsive. At this point we know he got paid and left us with a system 4 new compressors that do not work and he does not respond to our requests that he correct the problem.
Follow up review--
I need to add that the lux air units Steve installed never work completely unreliable. Every week one of 4 does not work and it takes him weeks to come and "rebuild" them under warranty just to have them not work the next week. it is a bad joke. he takes days to come and do the warranty work after taking tens of thousands of dollars to install new equipment.
The steam air humidifiers he installed do not work and leaked water down the wall of our master bedroom. This was the incompetence of his son who left a hose open and let water run down through the attic floor. Off course did not repair the damage.
You cannot make this stuff up.
This is by far the most incompetent if not criminally negligent HVAC company on the planet.
Never let these people in your house.
Run. Use anyone else.

Steve replaced the condenser outside my house without my permission, charged a few times the price I found the unit to cost online, and that didn't even fix the problem. The symptom persisted. We had to hire another contractor for the job. Literally the 2nd guy fixed the problem within a few minutes.

Had them install a new boiler ....bottom line ...they didn't install proper shut off valves and there was a gas leak .they had young kids installing .....you get what you pay for ...
