We got our yearly cleaning done on the new system that Kool Temp installed last year. The service Man named Bob came and was friendly but also took the time to explain everything that was done

I have used kool temp for about 3 years for my air conditioning which they installed 3 years ago. I had a recent problem and so far it seems all fine now. They are really a fantastic place. I highly recommend them.
It has now been 7 years since I started using Kool Temp. I am very impressed with them and all the people that work there. I just had a new system put in today. The other system was the manufacturers fault and not theirs. I still am recommending you all use these place.

I had 4 estimates for a new Mitsubishi AC/heating system for my home including Home Depot and Lowes. Mike from Kool Temp was the only one of the four that advised me of the rebates I will get from Central Hudson’s NYSERDA Clean Heat Program. The refund is quite substantial making Kool Temp by far the most competitive. On top of that, Mike promised to do all the paperwork to get me that refund. I am baffled how the competitors mentioned nothing of it.

When the proposal was sent, I had many questions which were quickly answered via email.

The job took 6 days in total. Every day, like clockwork, several Kool Temp vans, logos and all, would show up at 8am. A full crew wearing COVID masks, coverings on their shoes to not make a mess in the home got to work. They were neat, professional and friendly. They installed wall and ceiling units, hooked everything up to the electrical panel and tested everything before completion.

I am thrilled with the new system and have the utmost in confidence that if anything breaks, Kool Temp will be there for me.

I will suggest to anybody getting a new system to go with the in-ceiling heads vs the ones mounted on the wall if your home allows it.

Eric cleaned and tuned up our boiler which had not been cleaned in 2 years. (That's when it was installed) We could not find a company like Kool Temp that was willing to service our boiler. He did a great job!

I started two Silver service contracts with Kool Temp for both my AC and my boiler. The weekend after they serviced my boiler, the hot water stopped working and it was working fine. I just needed a yearly boiler check up. Unfortunately, I had people staying with me that weekend and they were completely miserable.
The technician came back and apparently, he had put the wrong release valve on the boiler and it prevented the boiler from turning on. They did not even take responsibility for their mistake.
A few weeks later, the house was not getting warm and I called for an emergency check. They said everything was fine, but the temperature in the house would not break 60! Then they charged me an additional service fee.
About a month later, my boiler was spewing soot! This boiler is only 10 years old. At this point, I was not going to use them again so I called a plumber. The plumber said that the boiler looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a year and that it was at risk of exploding.
The technicians at Kool Temp will claim they know what they are doing and make something into a much worse problem than it actually is. Stay away from them!

Had a freeze in heating baseboard
Refused to fix because there was debris on the porch from clean up the night before.
I’m a 20+ year landlord and have never had a company refuse to do such a simple task.
So unprofessional and I plan on telling everyone I know of this experience

Customer service and price were second to none. Had an issue that was quickly resolved. Always on time. The only thing preventing a full 5 star review is the access panel on the branch box was left off and the electric disconnect was left open. Otherwise a professional installation. Would definitely recommend and look to do additional jobs with this company.

We have used Kool Temp several times. Very knowledgeable and honest and their pricing is fair. I won't call anyone else for HVAC, furnace or insulation!!

AC stopped working and I left a voice message. Amber returned my call promptly and was able to immediately dispatch a technician . The technician (Wesley) really knew his stuff. He was professional , knowledgeable, and a pleasure to interact with. Bottom line, AC is once again pumping out cool air. Thank you Kool Temp!
