Working in real estate and commercial property management Santa Fe Express Plumbing is an amazing asset that we have! They are always able to show up on site in a timely manner when there is a plumbing problem, and we always receive a fair price. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable plumber in Santa Fe!!

Santa Fe Express Plumbing provided me with a quote for work on a kitchen/bath remodel project. When I asked them to do the work Robert said he needed a follow-up appointment to go over everything. So, I made a follow-up appointment with Robert for two days later and they didn't show up. When I called Robert that morning he said they did not even have it on their schedule. I told him I wasn't pleased and that I took time off of work, and he did not apologize and then told me to find some other plumber. He was very rude about it too. This company is very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone as they aren't concerned about the customer and may waste your time.

It is rare that a business warrants such a poor review by me and my family. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Three times, my service call was delayed by these guys and on the third day, I was lied to by Roberto about having talked to him the day before with him saying someone would show up in the morning. I am a local business owner and Santa Fe native and take offense to businesses like this putting a bad stamp on our town's ability to serve it's population. This company deserves no accolades for anything other than being poorly reviewed in many online forums. STAY AWAY for any plumbing needs!

DO NOT USE THEM and if you do anyways be careful. Very bad experience... very unreliable. They guys never called back after saying they would call and come out, or where even interested in a job. Seems like there are just forwarding jobs to subcontractors. Not even worth one star. They are working out of there house. Do not call them, there are many other plumbers in Santa Fe that are good.

Excellent service and very high quality work to replace a radiant heat boiler and domestic hot water system. Work was done in a very timely manner and the area was left spotless! Honest and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend for domestic plumbing/heating service. Will be using them for additional work!

Robert and his assistant were on time, professional, courteous and complete. All we needed was a furnace check but they also helped us move a scale remover to the correct position. They also killed a brown recluse spider in our utility closet! I will use this service again!

Got a discount card in the mail that looked good, so I called and had them check on a heating unit for a check up. The unit had been performing well and we didn't have any problems, but I wanted a second set of professional eyes to make sure it stayed in good shape. I made an appt 2 weeks in advance for 8 AM. I called at 8:10 and they said, "oh yeah, we're on our way." (no big deal, it happens) Two guys show up at 8:45 and ask what's wrong. I say, "nothing, just want a check up." They take a look at the filter and tell me it needs to be replaced so they run to Home Depot and get replacements. They replace the filter, and it was nasty - no doubt about it. Then, they unscrew a bunch of stuff, turn the heater on full blast, and wave the Carbon Monoxide meter around saying the whole place is unsafe. All of the sudden I need a new heating unit that will cost me $2800 and they threaten to red tag the place?! I tell them I'd going to get a second opinion and they turn off the gas and start to leave. Then I ask them why the carbon monoxide alarm isn't working? They bolt for the door and say it must be out of batteries and they don't work on alarms. I test it. It's fine. He's writes me up my bill and tells me if cost is an issue he can do it for cash under the table to keep it off the books (which is pretty surprising to me that they'd want to keep an "unsafe house" off the books). Then, he tells me his family owns every HVAC place in town and they'll all tell me the same thing and good luck finding a second opinion. Sketchy. I called a second opinion who tested the house the next day and showed up on time. It was fine, safe, etc... and the Carbon Monoxide alarm was placed correctly and working. The unit was fine, needed a few things tightened but was performing well. Did not like the experience at all. I felt like they tried to take advantage of me. The second opinion said they get reports of my story happening all the time.

Awesome experience regarding the recent house call made by SFEP (Robert). Arrived at the agreed upon date and time and performed the work effectively and efficiently. Adding this company to contacts and will gladly call on them again for any future work.

These guys are The Silver Lining, but awfully expensive

Strange to say, but I'm glad the first plumber arrived, took one look at the High Efficiency Dual Flush Toilet I ordered and said, "This is not a normal Toilet. This is not going to work."

Luckily I then called Santa Fe Express Plumbers. I told them there'd been a plumber before them who'd said the toilet wasn't normal, wouldn't fit, and would have to be sent back. I REALLY hoped they could install it, and held my breath.

They said, "No problem." Ignacio said, "I've installed over a hundred of these in new construction."

There were several obstacles, like the water valve for the inlet line having the wrong orientation for this particular commode. But, "No problem." Ignacio got all the water in the house turned off, disassembled and cut the pipe, put a ninety degree bit in, and it was perfect.

Because the toilet is one piece it's cumbersome to say the least. It required holes being drilled in my tile floor so that it could be secured. Again, "No Problem." These guys had the most wonderful, "can do" attitude. I just wish their price hadn't gone from $45/hr to $90/hr... which was each. And Robert didn't really do much other than watch.
