I called this company because heater wasn’t working and they did a excellent job. From the dispatcher to the office staff Aldo and Liz to the tech that showed up all and everyone of them were great. I would definitely recommend 5 star refrigeration to any one I know. So thankful there is still great customer service out there!!!

5 Star Refrigeration went above and beyond to help my mother out when her ac went out I contacted 5 Star refrigeration company spoke with them they immediately scheduled my no in and John the tech came very respectful and professional came in analyzed and assessed the situation explained to us what was causing the ac to not cool. We told him do what you have to fix it he did just that very very proud and happy with 5 Star refrigeration company very satisfied with there professionalism Thank you Aldo and Liz. Strongly recommend for any heating and cooling services

This heatwave was too much for my old ac. I called several companies for quotes. Aldo came out and looked at the entire unit and explained what would be done and what the cost was. He made sure I understood what would need to happen and how it all works and if I had questions. This was on a Friday and by the following Monday I had a new ac being installed. Johnn and Brittney were the tech and helper that came out. (They had masks and other ppe to use should I have found it necessary and wanted them to use it.) They worked all day and got it installed and cool. They tested and found a leak in the old line so it was fixed and sealed. Johnn explained my new system and thermostat and the warranty. The work area was left cleaner than they found it. They removed all the trash and old unit. I would definitely use this company again and would also highly recommend them ro family and friends. My overall experience was awesome from quote to install to enjoying my new system. Thank you Aldo, John, and Brittney!

Very responsive, kind, and professional. We called on Sunday afternoon about our walk-in cooler (turns out one of the motors had died) and Sal, from Five Star Refrigeration, was there first thing Monday morning! He did a very thorough job of identifying and fixing the issue as well as cleaning out the vents. He also answered all of my questions and was very nice to work with.

Great service! Had a service call the very same day I submitted a claim to my warranty company. The tech, John, knew the problem right away and even went above and beyond by wrapping my vent pipe with tape.
Very professional and will definitely call them for any future repairs.

The office person Liz was very professional, had Sal come out the same day to work on my AC! Sal was very professional with fixing my AC really takes pride in his work. We are a business and we installed a mini split system at our shop. But we wanted to have an reliable HVAC company connect the refrigeration lines and vacuum and load test it to make sure there’s no leaks etc. From all the research I did, looking at video installs etc., that should’ve taken about an hour and a half more or less. I had set up with another company to do the job for $200 Plus tax. But that seemed a lot for that much time as I’m paying for labor. So I called five star refrigeration and talked to Aldo and told him what I needed and how much they charged an hour. He told me it was $80 an hour. And he said it should take 1 to 2 hours to do the job. So I agreed to that and set up for them to come out about lunchtime. They ended up sending out someone very quickly which is great, and JORGE drove on the property at 9:10 AM. He was very friendly and thorough and got the job done nicely. When he was through at about 10:50AM, he wrote up the invoice and called it in and then he gave me the bill for $319 and change. I explained to him what Aldo said it would cost @ $80 an hour and that he said it would take one to two hours and it is what I was expecting to pay.. I heard him say to the woman he called in the office that he worked 2 1/2 hours for labor and when I looked at the bill, he was charging me $95 for nitrogen and to use the little compressor etc. Plus he said they start charging me labor when they leave the shop. if that’s true, that’s not right. Labor should be charged when you’re on the premises. And I asked him where his shop was but he didn’t tell me. And so I said, “is it 45 minutes away”? and he said yes. The shop is about Five minutes away from our Shop. So I had him call the office and they changed the amount to $225 plus tax. That’s still more than the other company would’ve charged me. I was expecting according to Aldo to pay $120-$160 plus tax. I went ahead and paid the amount but it left a bad taste in my mouth as you can imagine. When you are told one thing and it ends up being almost twice what they tell you and then when they’re not honest with how much time they spent on the worksite and then they’re charging you for things they didn’t tell you before hand, that’s not good and that’s not honest business. Whether that be from the employee or Business standpoint. Jorge did a very good job and the company got him out there very quickly which was impressive and I was happy about that. Just not the overcharging of the labor/time that he was actually working on premises along with excessive hidden charges.

I called about my A/C not working. Not long after I received a courtesy call that the technician was on his way. He identified the problem quickly, was very polite, wore a mask while inside the house, and made sure to fix what was causing the issue in the first place. I was very satisfied with the service. I will recommend them to my friends and family.
