I was truly amazed with the awesome service I received from TRU AIR last week. The service tech was very prompt and communicated with me every step as to what I could expect. When I thought there would be a problem getting the part he came thru in just a couple hours instead of days. I am very pleased. Thank you TRU AIR!

Please do not get me wrong, the product is good, but the service I received is far less than I expected, especially since I decided to go with them because they were listed on Angie’s List (and trust me...they shouldn’t be). I had my unit installed in November, and this Spring, I could not get the unit converted to A/C. I called, scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday, the technician could not do anything that day, because he said he didn’t have the equipment on his truck, rescheduled an appointment for the following day to complete the job. Back story, he stated it was probably wired wrong and also, when he opened up the furnace...the original installers did not even put in a filter...seriously? That means my furnace was running all winter (6 months) with no filter, when they should be changed out every 2-3 months. That could seriously damage the electronics...and trust me...when they installed it, they had no problem taking $10,000.00 immediately. Well, the technician was supposed to bring a filter (one that I should have had when it was installed) to my house on Thursday when he returned to complete the service...NO filter. I called him when I got home, he then said he would drop one off on Friday, because he forgot...NO filter. I called the office, asked them to just tell me the size of the filter I need, because if I held my breath while waiting for TruAir to bring me the filter that should have come with it in the first place...well, I’d be dead! They apologized, contacted the technician, said he will bring one to me shortly and said, well...we have been very busy. Okay, I get that, but I feel I should be treated like any other “valued customer.” After all, my money is just as good as anyone else’s. When I hung up the phone with the office, I noticed I had a voicemail from the technician stating he is on his way to bring me the filter. That was at 4:30 pm. At 6:15, I decided to go to Lowe’s and buy a few different sizes of filters, well because I needed one and it didn’t seem like I was ever going to get one from TruAir (the one that I should have originally had). When I got home from Lowe’s, I texted the technician as stated, “ I have now been waiting for 2 1/2 hours, so I am guessing I will not be getting the filter?”. His response was...” Yes I went to Home Depot to get you one and they had a line out the door I’ll drop it off tomorrow. Thanks for your understanding.” Did I understand...it is nothing but empty promises. Needless to say, it is now Saturday at 4:17 pm and still NO DAMN FILTER!

As a consumer, you decide...does this sound like good customer service to you? Especially, since I shelled out $10K for the unit? Do you think I should have been treated like a valued customer. By the way, my job by trade is Director of Human Resources for a Medical Firm...personally, as a Human Resources Professional...I would expect the Owner of TruAir to thoroughly look into the actions of their employees and at some level, hold them accountable for the horrible customer service I received. I have 3 other homes (rentals) that I was going to retrofit HVACs into, but trust me...I will definitely look elsewhere.

Just adding a comment; it has now been a week 5/6/20, and still no reply or the filter that 3 people have promised. After all, I paid for it originally.

Jesus and his Tru Air team are phenomenal !!
The HVAC Techs are top notch , professional and took time to explain what they were doing. The Techs repaired our Heater and got us ready for Winter. We are considering a Refigerated Air system in the future and will definitely use Tru Air to install. I will highly recommend Tru Air to Family and friends.

David, the technician, is a very likable and cordial individual. He provided a external visual inspection of my two Rheem units, changed out my filters and used an infrared temperature sensor to determine that my a/c's were functioning properly. Ensure that you have a good understanding of what services are included in an annual checkup.

Chuy came out right away. He diagnosed the problem, ran and got a part, came back and fixed it within a couple hours. He was mindful of the hourly rate and wasted no time! Very honest and reasonable prices . Highly recommend!
