If I could give this company a negative star, I would. I was recommended to call them by a friend who utilized their $39 drain unclogging service recently and were happy with the service. They came out and said the $39 special didn't apply in our case. It ended up costing almost $1000 to clear our drain plus they insisted we needed to re-plumb pretty much our entire house and it would cost $23,000 that they would finance for us for one year. The technician was pushy and rude to my husband. We paid the cost for the drain clearing but told them no thanks on the re-plumbing job.
Patrick came to my home to fix my clogged toilet. He was very friendly and professional and tried hard to fix the problem. He gave me a good deal and I will call Strongbuilt again if I have any future problems. Thank you Patrick.
Didn't come out for hours after the initial call which gave time to resolve the issue on my own. Knowing that my house was flooding they had no sense of urgency. Driver still charged me $150 cause he drove to my house.
Simply the best!!! Our experience started last fall with Mark repairing our heater. It was a Saturday, my special needs son wanted to know everything he was doing, and Mark was amazing with him, explaining everything he was doing as he did it. He made my son feel very involved and didn't mind the constant barrage of questions. Fast forward to March and we had ceiling fans installed, a higher amp breaker and outlet installed in the garage, a light removed in the house, and an issue with some incorrectly installed outlets fixed. The issue with the outlets had been looked at by another electrician who couldn't figure it out. Bill, Manny and Marcos came out and fixed the issues with the outlets in less than 10 minutes, then did all the rest of the work quickly and without issue. You would never have guessed they had to cut into the drywall, the repairs they did were seamless! A couple nights ago at about 10pm our plumbing stopped working. Mitchell came to the house and resolved the issue with a clogged main quickly. He was so nice and didn't have any issues with being there after hours. He walked me through the issue (tree roots), how to prevent it in the future, and what we needed to do to maintain our plumbing to avoid major expenses. I signed us up for PANDA care on the spot. We will be loyal Strongbuilt customers for all of our heating, ac, plumbing and electrical needs and any other services they offer as we need them.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. The A/C system maintenance company that usually serve us was booked until mid July so I searched for another company. I'm retired USAF and a disabled vet so I thought I would support this "Vet owned" company. I made an appointment for June 2nd for between 8am and noon. Called around noon time to see where we stood? The lady at the answer desk said," We had to cancel and was just working down our call list to let customers know". So I made a new appointment for June 6th. After 2pm that day I called to see where the tech was? I was told, "Only one ahead of you and he should be there in and hour or an hour and a half." At quarter to 4pm I called again and got the same answer, "Only one customer ahead of you so he should be there in about an hour or 90 minutes." Since this was the exact same answer I got before, I cancelled. Will not do business with these folks again. My time is important also.
Hired them to come out and do an AC/furnace tune up&inspection and luckily for me it was a waste of only $40. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. First off the lady on the phone said the tech would call me with a 2 hour window the day of and the guy called 5 mins before he arrived… second, when he did arrive he was clearly not thrilled to there. He was very cold and unfriendly, which being home alone didn’t make me feel very good. He never introduced himself, nor asked me for my name. He then checked the furnace in the attic for 5 mins and when I asked about it, he said “it was good”. After that he proceeded to the ac unit outside and his conclusion to that was telling me I need to spend $1400 on r22 refrigerant because it’s low. Didn’t explain why, if it was leaking, will that fix the problem, NOTHING. I wasn’t comfortable just shelling out that kind of money when I know nothing about the issue, so I told him I’d call the office back after I spoke with my husband about it, and that was it. Didn’t get a receipt either. I would not and will not use this company again. Bryce Phillips was the tech. Maybe all techs from this company act that way and if they do, I’m not sure how they have any customers. End of story is our ac actually needed replacing because the refrigerant leak was bad. We ended up taking our business to CR refrigeration who took great care of us.
