Mike N installed my new toilet & vanity, faucets, changed bathroom valves, tub spout, took out old gas grill, checked lines. Cleaned up everything. Reasonable pricing. Mike N is amazing, explains everything, nice, smart, efficient, neat, so knowledgeable and at the end excellent work product. Mike N will be my plumber & will recommend him to family & friends. So I found out while getting a CO inspection of my home recently to sell that the CO/condensation tube on my water heater needed to be replaced with a bigger one. The inspector circled the part in the manual and said it was an easy fix. I called AME Plumbing because they are the ones who installed the water heater in 2019. I spoke with the person who answers the phone and she immediately tells me she doesn’t have any air conditioning people on staff. I said “it’s not an air conditioner, it’s a water heater”. She said “I don’t know about condensation tubes on water heaters?” she said she had to ask somebody and get back to me. I called later on the same day and she tells me she’s still waiting to talk to somebody about this. Then she says to me “Well it’s been three years?” I said “Yes I know because my husband was dying of cancer and then he passed away in November 2019”. Of course she felt stupid as she should have. I called again this morning only to once again be told she still hasn’t found anybody to talk to you about this tube. I called another plumber who had installed some irrigation piping for me and he immediately knew the part I was talking about, He said just take a picture of the model number of the water heater and he will be at my house in the morning to replace it. Of course I called AME Plumbing back and told her to disregard having anybody call me because I found an actual plumber who apparently knows what parts go on a water heater and is servicing it tomorrow morning. Only when I told her I was going to write a negative Google review did she start to scamper with her words and say “Well we’re shortstaffed…this that and the other thing”. I said “In the two days I’ve been calling you, you never mentioned once about being short staffed. You did nothing but give me an attitude and make me feel stupid even though the inspector circled the part in the manual that needs to be replaced. You said it didn’t exist in a water heater. You also basically accuse me of manipulating a water heater which I have absolutely no interest in doing. ” AME Plumbing should seriously reconsider who they have answering their phones because they are being misrepresented by someone work horrible customer service skills and she’s making them look very stupid and unprofessional because she’s talking about plumbing things and she’s not a plumber. She’s also insulting widows who did not know they had open permits for three years because she’s too busy grieving the loss of her husband and trying to get her life back together. Why would I assume that the same people who opened the permit for and installed the water heater would be the same people to fix a small repair that the township requested? I guess AME Plumbing considers that unreasonable.

AME is fantastic. Great customer service. Appointment was set up quick and without hassle. Installation of my water was prompt and very professional with a great price. Big thanks to Chris too, he was awesome!

James was very knowledgeable even though the shower faucet was a high end. Not the everyday fixture that you find at Lowes or Home Depot , he told me call the manufacturer and order it. He did an awesome job and I would recommend using him in the future.

We have used AME a few times and have been very happy with their service. Today Mike N. installed our new kitchen faucet and replaced the old drain. It looks great and no leaks! Mike took the time when he was done to walk me through everything he did. Very nice and courteous guy.
