I can't speak highly enough of Katham Industries. I called them after our heat suddenly stopped working (outside temp around 12 degees at the time) on a Saturday afternoon. I spoke with the owner, George, who walked me through checking the furnace and exhaust vent for any blockages over the phone, and when that didn't work he personally came out to our house. George diagnosed the problem as a bad igniter and swapped it out with a replacement he had with him. Within 1 hour of my initial call Katham had the heat working again, 5/5 great service!

George and all his workers were polite and professional. The addition of a central air unit estimate was pretty much what we were expecting and the work was done in a timely manner. When we did have an issue - a minor mixup- George was there to fix the problem asap. It's nice to have a trustworthy company to depend on.

I’m very happy with the installation of my central air conditioner system this year. George, the owner, came by to inspect and gave me a very competitive bid for the job. His workers were very professional during the installation, and completing the job quickly.

The HVAC installers are skilled professionals and the installation was thought out. They maneuvered around the available attic, ceiling, wall, and floor spaces to provide the appropriate air register quantities needed for the home. This is not necessarily easy as we had an open concept layout. The ceiling registers were proportionally placed and in a good visual line with the ceiling lights. All workers were exceptionally good hearted professionals saying ma’am and sir.

At the end of the job they took away all of the waste packaging materials.

We were really pleased and used them to replace our rental property HVAC unit as well.

I had a terrible experience with George Katrandjian and Katham Industries which went on for many months. I paid him promptly for his work at my home. However when problems arose with the modified furnace I spent almost a year communicating with George Katrandjian, president and owner of Katham Industries, requesting he repair the modified furnace and my new furnace. The modified furnace failed to work properly and my renter was without heat. He refused to correct the furnace. I had to hire another Hvac company to fix what George couldn’t or wouldn’t repair. I learned from another Hvac person George had miscalculated the btu output resulting in no heat. Additionally when I went to the city and pulled required permits (which he should have pulled) the city failed both furnaces!!! I was forced to take him and Katham Industries to Bergen County court. I won the case and George had to fix his mistakes. Instead of being gracious about his mistakes he sent me nasty and rude emails. The city of Englewood, my renter, and my new Hvac plumber (30+ years of experience) were directly involved. They can verify my unfortunate experience with George and Katham Industries.

Time and time again I have called upon Katham Industries to take care of all my heating and air conditioning needs. From cleaning to repairs to custom orders, they were professional, timely and courteous. I can't say enough.

On time as promised. The technician made his inspection and gave his opinion including expected cost. Although this was inspection call only, if future work is needed, Katham is definitely the one I'd call.
