I have been using RAS for nearly 20 years. RAS installed my original AC & Heating system when I first bought my home. I recently had to replace my AC/Air Handler last year and this year my furnace & Hot Water Heater. Each installation took the entire day with 4 to 5 installers working - non stop. They were extremely neat, and went over how to operate the equipment. Just a great job!! I also use RAS for my yearly maintenance as well - they are always on time and do a great job as well. The office sends out all the paper work to fill out for any rebates and they send in the permit applications. Could not be happier.. Great business and good, honest people!

Very grateful for RAS for coming out so quickly to repair my 2 a/c units that stopped working for no obvious reason during this summer heatwave. Highly recommend their technicians Conor and Hector for their professionalism, care and knowledge. After troubleshooting the issue, they followed up several times to ensure the problem was fixed.
Hector took time to explain the science behind my unit and figured out what was causing the shortening during hot temperatures.

Connor and Billy and team did an extraordinary job designing and installing a complex ductless mini split system for our old and convoluted house. They were professional and terrific to deal with. I couldn’t be happier with them as our partner for this big and important project. And we are thrilled with the result!

We cannot say enough great things about Residential Air. We called for an estimate and had an appointment scheduled within the next week. Connor was very knowledgeable, provided several options, and also gave a recommendation based on his experience - not pushy and understood exactly what we were trying to accomplish. Vickie in the office was a pleasure to deal with coordinating the install date and taking care of all the permits. When it came time for the installation, everything went smoothly and quickly, the crew were very friendly and respectful and our new system is working great so far.

I could not be more impressed & grateful for the quality service & support from Residential Air. They back up their work & installation & don’t try to gouge their customers. I bought a Mitsubishi split unit from them for my three season porch 2+ yrs ago and there was a Freon leak they just fixed at no charge. When my Carrier Central Air unit ‘goes’ (it’s 30+ yrs old), Residential Air will be my source of comfort.

They are highly responsive, professional, fair in pricing, complete the work in the timeframe provided and clean up after themselves. I highly recommend them and am very appreciative to have such customer focused service professionals.

I need to speak highly of both the company and the technician. First, I found RAS through a Google serach. They had a great rating, so I called and left my information. In short order, Vickie (hope I spelled it right) got back to me to help me sort out a very difficult situation. I wasn't getting good support from my current TRANE dealer, and had a component failure (compressor) I was told would take 6-8 weeks even through it was a warranty issue, and that was a maybe. Naturally, I didn't like that answer and frankly thought I could get a faster resolution elsewhere. RAS was able to to handle the warranty claim of another dealers customer without a hitch, and got the compressor in one week. Their relationship with Trane seems much better than my current dealer, and their pricing for the services not covered by the warranty was more reasonable than the TRANE dealer who installed my system, which I why I accepted their offer.

When Hector showed up, he was fabulous. He had a clear plan for how to swap the compressor, which required unbrazing the failed unit and re-brazing the replacement. His methods to return the unit to service where meticulous, and shared his extensive experience in troubleshooting and restoration of the condenser unit that was beyond anything I had experience previously. In short, he was a consumate professional.

Needless to say, in the sweltering heat of August in New Jersey, we were quite fortunate to find both a great company and an outstanding technician when we needed them. We are back up and cooling in under two weeks, not the "best-case" of 6-8 we feared, and RAS now has a new customer for good.

RAS did an amazing all-around job on our full house cold-climate Mitsubishi heat pump install, using ductless mini-splits downstairs and ducts on the 2nd and 3rd. I got estimates from 3 contractors before finding RAS, and they had the best system design, components and value (we really took our time finding a contractor for this project!!).

Connor designed a particularly smart placement of the downstairs mini-splits to maximize airflow in all rooms and spaces, and it's working perfectly now, with great cooling and no hot spots or spaces, even though our floor plan is somewhat complex. The install and detail of the connecting lines and line covers was also beautifully done by Bill and his team: it looks clean, hidden and professional, and in no way degrades the character of our old colonial style house. They even took the time to match and adjust to the interior trim of the house. The outside line covers also look very clean and professional, and everything appears to be well siliconed and sealed from the elements.

The install was pretty quick and easy given the huge amount of work needed--they simply brought the whole team out to work on it in parallel, and it was finished in less than a week.

We're really happy with this install and the Mitsubishi system: it's performing beautifully now in summer, and is basically silent! As a bonus, the outdoor units are essentially silent as well, which was a great surprise. We can't wait to use it for heating in the winter, thanks RAS!!

We had ongoing problems with our AC system and multiple other companies come out to address it, and the problems continued. When we had the same problem again, other companies wouldn't come out for at least a week or more, but we called ResAir, and they came out the same day, overhauled the whole system in a day, got us excellent financing, and the problems are solved for good. Very responsive. Very professional. Fantastic job. Highly recommended.
