My experience with Colossus HVAC was one of the most positive service experiences from start to finish I have ever encountered as a homeowner. Learning that my entire heating system needed to be replaced was a scary prospect but from the first phone call the office staff was comforting and my first meeting with James, made me feel at ease. James’ professionalism and attention to every detail especially the financing challenges I knew I would be facing was tremendous and so much better than other companies I had investigated. They treated me with respect and care and followed through by answering questions via phone and email throughout the whole process. When the team arrived to put in my new system continued the impeccable professionalism. Their patience and knowledge were so impressive, Nicholas explained everything during the visit.
They worked so hard for hours in my tiny basement and were continuously pleasant and helpful. After over 8 hours of work, Nicholas explained the entire system to me with a smile and answered every question with the expertise he has accumulated during his work in the industry. When the team left every question I had was answered and every piece of my home where they had worked was clear and clean. I can't say enough about this team and would recommend them to everyone.

I reached out on line with the issue my son was having with his gas/boiler and James responded withi 10 minutes.
We scheduled a time and Nick came out and did his thing.

After damage from a storm, I needed to replace the AC unit. II decided to also have the furnace replaced as well. James and his father Nicolas performed these services at a great price, and arrived when scheduled. They were extremely knowledgeable and professional and throughout the process were polite and personable. Very trustworthy and I will now have them do all my service work as well. We had an excellent experience with Colossus!!

Had a great experience with Colossus. Both at the time of the initial estimate and again at the installation they arrived when the said they would - that's a great way to run a business!! They were efficient and courteous during the install and I would refer any friend looking for HVAC service.

Our A/C went out on Friday and the company we have a service contract with came on Saturday and said that we needed a new system and that a salesman would call us on Monday or Tuesday - WHAT? It was the hottest week of the summer!!! THEN we found out that a new system couldn't be installed until LATE OCTOBER! We found Colossus in Brick, NJ online and called them. The father/son owners, Nick and James, arrived Sunday night at 9:00 pm - after they were done with their service calls for that day - we couldn't believe their awesome work ethic! A new A/C system was installed the very next day. We couldn't have asked for quicker, friendlier or more professional service. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY - THEY GAVE BETTER SERVICE THAN WE COULD HAVE EVER ASKED FOR.

I have used Colossus on several occasions to install HVAC etc. I have even recommended them. Nick is very courteous and James is very prompt. They are a great team and their prices are very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a mini split ductless AC installed. They came in removed an old AC from the wall. Closed in the wall and installed the mini split. They did a great job. They were professional and cleaned up after they were done. I would use them again in the future.

BUYER BEWARE! I have 2 A/C units and I asked the supposedly expert and owner “Mick” to replace the 3 ton unit for downstairs and leave the 2.5 ton unit for upstairs, which worked perfectly fine, alone. What he did was replace the 2.5 ton unit with a new 3 ton unit and after he realized he made a mistake, instead of rectifying the mistake, he decided to use the 2.5 ton unit for downstairs. Then after 7 days that 2.5 ton unit no longer work. So I had another HVAC company come over and they gave me a quote on replacing that now bad unit with the same RUUD 3 ton unit that “Mick” had charged me $7200 plus tax and the new company’s quote was $5300!!! So just out of curiosity I call “Mick”, since he screwed up the first time, what he would charge and it was the same $7200 plus tax. So not only is he an unscrupulous person he’s also a liar and a thief. DO NOT USE THIS GUY unless you like getting ripped off and inferior work!!!

Excellent, knowledgeable, professional service installing my central air conditioning system. They were the nicest and most honest contractors I ever had do work in my home. I highly recommend Colossus HVAC.
