UPDATE: The air conditioner is not working properly. In one bedroom, it sounds like the system is rapidly cycling on and off like a revving engine. After numerous attempts to contact him, Jud, the lead technician, eventually came out to diagnose the issue but couldn’t. He said he needed to talk to the furnace manufacturer to discuss the problem and would get back to us (or the manufacturer might send a tech). We never heard back. After trying for weeks to contact him with no response, we found that he left the company and no one was working on our problem. When we contacted our account rep, Lance, he (without exploring the issue) summarily suggested the problem isn’t under warranty. When they were trying to sell us the job, the guys represented that for the price we paid they would warranty the hvac systems even though they were taking over the job. We are sad to see that it appears they are trying to avoid fixing the problems we have lived with for months without even diagnosing the issues. Now that it has gotten colder, we found out the heater is not working properly either and is blowing when it shouldn’t be in some rooms and not blowing in other rooms on the same zone when the blower is on (the heater worked fine last winter before George’s worked on the system). We are contacting the service department AGAIN and I will change my rating if they honor the warranty and fix the issues.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: They stepped in to complete our conversion to central A/C and heat after we had to fire our original HVAC contractor. Lance, who came out to bid the job, was extremely responsive. The owner Wil and technician Jud took the time to thoroughly explain what we needed for the system to function properly (including rectifying deficient intake venting the other company designed), patiently answered all our questions, were thoroughly professional yet friendly, and timely completed the project for the quoted price.

Earlier this spring, we had Georges Heating & Cooling install a ductless mini-split heating and cooling system in our home. It was a pleasure to work with this company. We chose Georges in part because of their prompt and reliable communication. The work was executed on a timely basis and with good supervision. Questions we had as the project went along were promptly answered with good information. The installation crew was well-directed. The orientation to the use of the system was clear and well-demonstrated. Overall, we had a good experience with Georges on this mini-split project and therefore expanded work with them on a central dehumidifying system, also well-handled.

We are very pleased with the level of service and professionalism we received with George’s! They were punctual, stayed in touch with us and we’re willing to help move our furniture back at the completion of the job. Great system. Great value!

BEWARE I was quoted for a service I did not need. Once I got a second opinion, what was actually needed was 1/3 the price.

Great experience when we had a Heating emergency. Within 24 hours the problem was detected and a new Furnace was installed with great quality. Thank you to Judd for his excellent customer service!

Wil was very nice and fairly responsive to emails/calls, at least originally. There were a few times I had to call them back in to fix some smaller issues with the HVAC work they had done. However, when I discovered a bigger problem, Wil became less responsive, and it required some persistence on my part to get him to talk to me about it. He wouldn't admit to having made a mistake and only offered to submit a quote to fix it if I would be paying for it. I told him I had to think about it and discuss it with my partner. He never followed back up with me on the issue.

I wasn't happy with all the issues with the work that had been done, with the quality of the subcontractors' work, and how there didn't seem to be a commitment to my satisfaction as a customer. I do think Wil is a nice guy but in the end I didn't feel that he did right by me, and I would probably have to take my HVAC business elsewhere in the future.

i first called late morning, and got a call back within one hour. the owner came to my house later that same day and offered three different price points, all of which were at least a thousand dollars less than a previous quote, and the guys just finished the job. i can't wait for HOT weather so i can enjoy my new AC!! great job everyone!! I hired Georges heating and cooling to install Brand new heating and AC unit at my house, the service was exceptional, job was completed on time and they were friendly and easy to communicate with. i highly recommend georges Heating and cooling to family and friends.

When I built my addition it was intended to be a three season porch so heating was not a consideration at the time ( yea i know its NH and heating should ALWAYS be a concern because winter it 10 months out of the year) but when it turned in to additional living space not having heat was not an option . My house was built in the 1970's so forced air was installed, thankfully, but the room was outside of my foundation. Long story short after talking with Wil he came up with a brilliant solution to tie in to my existing system so now I have heat in in my new room without compromising my foundation . I honestly didn't think there was any way I could have normal heat and thought I was going to have to resort to a space heater , which would have been a shame and eye sore in brand new addition but, they definitely pulled it off flawlessly! Now when it came to the actual installation Judd was extremely knowledgeable, polite , and professional and just over all a nice guy. He took the time to explain everything he was doing to ensure the vision Wil designed made sense to me and I was comfortable and informed every step of the process.The craftsmanship was extraordinary, I was a framing contractor and I have seen countless HVAC jobs in my time but I can say this with confidence, the level of their design, innovation and application is completely unprecedented and immaculate. I will close with value and pricing , I don't think its really relevant to quote the exact price because this is a one -of- a -kind job but I can tell you this it was certainly fair. If you have ANY heating, cooling or other building trade related needs look no further because you wont find anything better than this Georges Heating and cooling.
