I contacted Mountain West to prepare our A/C unit that died on Wednesday during 98 degree heat. They were able to come and repair the unit 3 days sooner than our usual heating/AC company. I had read great reviews about them and they lived up to it 100%. They said they'd be here between 10-12 and were here at 10:10 am (that NEVER happens). Andrew quickly diagnosed the problem (blown capacitor), fixed it and we were back having a cool house by 11 am. The price was very reasonable. We will be using them for all of our maintenance and repair issues for the future. Great service and very professional!

They installed the ducting for a new bathroom exhaust fan. Showed up on time, friendly, total pros, were in and out much quicker than anticipated. Def recommend.

We had bids from several companies. Although Mountain West gave us a very good price, it was Andrew's knowledge that impressed us. They showed up early on the day scheduled and did a very neat and professional install. Despite a couple of unforseen issues, the install was completed on time and on price. Mountain West was highly recommended to us and we would like to do the same.

Strongest Possible Recommendation! I am extremely satisfied with the highly professional and quality service provided by Andrew and Mountain West. After several poor experiences and much frustration with other HVAC companies here in Reno ((I had been waiting for 2 weeks for another company to show up - they never did and never responded to multiple phone calls nor did several others.), I decided to contact Mountain West and spoke to the Owner Andrew. He was terrific on the phone and got out to our house the next day. He diagnosed our problem quickly and identified a special order part which he got in just two days (I had been told by another HVAC company that the special order replacement part was unavailable and that a whole new component would have to be installed for $$$$$). Andrew installed an upgraded special order part in a matter of moments (at a reasonable price) and completed a thorough check of our entire two-zone system once everything was back in one piece. I will be sure to call Andrew and Mountain West first if I have issues/problems with our HVAC in the future. Thanks, Andrew!

Highly recommend Andrew and his company. Extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Called him on a Friday night after 8pm and he came the next day without a huge price tag. Previous company that we had used was with a national chain and there is no comparison at all.

When you’re in hell make sure to call Andrew at Mountain West. This summer has been a hot, hot summer due to a busted air conditioner and - finally - it’s been remedied thanks to Mountain West.

Andrew, the owner, was fast to respond, efficient as heck, and did me a solid fitting me into his schedule so quickly. Did I also mention they’re well priced, phew. Andrew and Chandler, a technician, were both down to earth and friendly as well - bonus! My dog also loved them. Need I say more?

I called several HVAC companies trying to get an appointment to service my AC condenser. No one could get there for days. I found Mountain West Air Conditioning on line and called. Andrew said he could be there the next day. I met him at the house and in 30 minutes the AC was blowing cold air. He charged the system and replaced some worn parts.
Excellent prompt service, very professional and fair prices.

Andrew has provided service twice in the past month for 2 different HVAC issues. Both times he answered the phone and provided service quickly, was professional and reasonably priced. I like that he fixed problems with our 20+ year old system rather than trying to sell us a brand new system.

My ac unit wasn’t running and after I checked all the posible issues I found on google I decided to call the HVAC guy. I called many places and they were either too expensive or didn’t have time.

i am so glad that i found Andrew . I was so desperate to have my heater installed before thanksgiving since it was starting to freeze and i have visitors coming over that holiday . i phoned him on a Saturday and he answered promptly . He came to my house same day and immediately worked on a plan to have my heater installed before thanksgiving and He DID it very professionally.

i have called a few companies in town and the response I got is nowhere near Mountain west heating and A/C company in teerms of pricing , professionalism and promptness . Very approachable and pleasant guy too . He also gave me free thermostat ..
