Bond Heating and Air Conditioning

Chris Bond has serviced our AC units several times. He personally does the work. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. He answers calls promptly and is very personable. He actually repairs things! We have had techs from some of the larger companies come out when a unit malfunctioned and almost immediately we were told we needed to replace the unit. Chris will actually diagnose the problem and fix it.

A friend and neighbor told me Chris Bond is the most honest contractor he's ever worked with. After getting a replacement rooftop HVAC unit from him, I couldn't agree more. First of all, I came in excited about investing in a top-of-the-line system for maximum efficiency, and Bond actually convinced me to go with a much *cheaper* unit (he explained that the highly efficient units are less reliable and require specialized, hard-to-find parts). Second, he was accommodating about my travel schedule, getting the entire replacement (with a crane and everything) done in a single day with less than a week's notice. Finally, when I noticed a gap in the duct seal, he came right over the next day and resealed it perfectly. The system now works better than I thought possible!

The only flaw I can report is that since Bond Heating and Air Conditioning is just one man, and he's often on a roof doing a job, there isn't someone you can call to schedule a visit--instead, you call an answering service, who takes your name and number, and Chris calls you back later. But even this "flaw" is an advantage compared to some other contractors: there's no possibility for confusion on the backend (and no one to blame for such confusion), you only have an appointment with Chris when Chris himself tells you so, and as his motto goes--his word is his Bond! Plus, I would put up with a lot more inconvenience than this to avoid the salesmanship and questionable business practices which tend to characterize the rest of this industry.

I'll certainly be using Bond for all my future HVAC needs and have already started recommending him to my friends in the area.

I have a condo in Las Vegas. The air conditioning unit was not functioning. I got the appointment the next day. Chris Bond came in time and quickly went onto the roof and located the unit and fixed the problem and explained the situation to me. His charges were very reasonable. He asked me to call him any time if problem recurs. I recommend him highly.

I've used Chris for years, and he's saved me a fortune. He doesn't try to sell you something you don't need. And he's honest. The fan on my compressor went out last week -- a fan Chris had replaced last year. He came out, replaced the fan, and didn't charge me a dime. Believe me, you couldn't find a better person to service your HVAC.

I called Bond Heating and air a few days ago. After two other outrageous quotes and terrible service I was lucky to have found Bond. The technician was very nice, prompt and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed my unit and found the problem. I was very happy with the reasonable price and efficient service. I will definitely be using Bond as my regular a/c company and would recommend them to anyone I know.

Bond is the best! I called Bond Heating and Air Conditioning for a second opinion on my air conditioner. Kevin, a fabulous guy, came out when scheduled, but because he needed a special part, could not fix it that day. Rather than leave me in the sweltering, triple-digit, Las Vegas heat, he went out of his way to do a by-pass to ensure I had cool air. He came back at 7:00 am the next day, but again another part was needed. The owner, Chris Bond, called and came out with the part himself later that afternoon. He fixed everything and warrantied the job for two years. When other companies try to sell you more than you really need, or to fix problems that other companies cannot, I strongly recommend you call Bond.

Chris was on time, professional and courteous. He spent the time to go over what went wrong and what was needed. Most importantly, he doesn't attempt to up sell you or persuade you to replace a part or work that is not needed. He is an honest man earning a honest living. I respect that. I have hired Chris several times for the past 5 years and he has always done a great job.

This company is the best at what they do. They are on time, offer the best solution and care about their customers. One of the few honest companies we have found and have used them more than once. Totally honest and reliable.

I recently called Bond Heating & Air Conditioning to ask about an estimate to repair my AC. Mr. Bond, the Father was very nice and accommodating my scheduling needs. He stated his son will be there on time and he was, not only prompt but very professional. Indeed representing Las Vegas, NV well in his industry. I've lived in areas that HVAC service has been a nightmare of an experienceI but I am so happy to say not this time. I recommend BOND HVAC 100%!! I just bought a house and our inspector noted multiple things “wrong” with our AC unit. I had Chris come out and look at it, and instead of trying to sell me things I didn’t need, he was honest and told us the AC was fine! He will now be my go to guy for our AC unit!
