Climatech Heating & Air Conditioning

Would NOT recommend at all! Trying to be proactive, we decided to replace our great working 30 year old system with new. Big mistake! Piece of junk Goodman/Amana failed every season change leaked freon, bad circuit boards, compressor died just out of warranty. Response was always slow or not at all from him and we had to go without A/C for several days in brutal heat with young kids. It would never make it through a summer or winter without issues. It was also very loud and rumbled the house when A/C was on. In the end we got another complete new system from a different company due to being sick of waiting on repairs and dumping money into junk. The new Lennox system worked flawlessly and super quiet. Too bad that first unit only made it 5 years. (If you want to call repairs every season “making it”) Still irritated by that whole situation.

In the past Kevin at Climatech had been very reliable. We love his responsiveness and timing. But lately, not so much! Please consider this review before you call. It's June 29th, and we've been without upstairs AC since the middle of May, and we've called Climatech several times asking they come take a look. We always get the response that "I'll be there tomorrow ... tomorrow ... tomorrow" ... but no one ever shows up. One morning we had to drop off some mail at the Hickman post office and just happened to run into Kevin, who apologized that he'd forgotten us (AGAIN!), but promised to come out the next day. This was on June 11th. No change in our AC status, and no call or contact from Kevin. Today, June 19th, we had to call HIM learn he came out at some point (again, no contact that this was done) and put some additonal Freon in our AC unit (as he did before, and didn't fix the problem). Basically, we feel Climatch really doesn't care about our needs as homeowners. We are looking into an alternative HVAC company from Lincoln. Our advice you you, if you live in Hickman, do NOT call Climatech and rely on them for you HVAC needs. You will only be put on the back burner waiting ... waiting ... waiting! If the option to give ZERO stars was there, that's what I would choose.

I am always amazed that Kevin has the necessary parts on his truck with him. I called and described a situation that was needing repaired, Kevin came prepared to fix that part and when it ended up being something else, he was like no problem I have one of those in the truck!

Kevin has always been good to work with and responds quickly to our issue. Pricing is very good also.

Well I have A\C and heat after having to wait 2 weeks for a unit. At the expense of a flooded finished basement with carpet. over 500.00 to get dry and replaced. Now the drain hose would not drain and another flooded basement. NEVER will use Climajoke again.

Awesome experience! Highly recommend! Kevin came out and figured out my furnace problem in no time on the coldest day of the year!
