We are really happy with our new air conditioner and furnace! So happy, in fact, we invited them back for another project: resizing our original, 50-year-old ductwork. We met the River City employees working on our project and immediately felt comfortable with them in and around our home. It's refreshing to talk to people who are passionate and interested in the work they do! When my wife or I have questions, River City employees are eager to answer them. When I suggested a modification, they were willing to make the change, even though it meant more work for them. My wife and I were also really impressed with the turnaround: When our old air conditioner broke, they showed up, showed us options, and got to work right away! Amazing!

Sold me a 10+ year old model as "new" when it broke tech comments "hard to find parts for these old models"
Techs are friendly and do ok work, but service calls on the "new" AC unit exceeded 2500 dollars before it was finally fixed by replacing the condenser.

If you buy a new system, find out the year the equipment was manufactured before they install it, or you might get "new" (still factory sealed) equipment.

I had an AC unit that needed to be installed. This was the only company in Omaha that would install a unit that was not purchased from them. As expected they did not warranty the unit but did warranty their labor. Jeff not only addressed the issue I wanted done but identified other areas that were not up to code. He worked with my and did not charge me for the things that were not needed. The installation techs were nice and pleasant to work with. Would recommend to family and friends.

Our furnace went out after hours. We called the after-hours team and Barry (tech) arrived quickly and had the problem fixed even quicker. He was courteous, efficient, and such a blessing on a cold night. Would 100% recommend Barry and this company!

River City is a great, reliable company that actually follows through with a system of sending reminder cards by postal mail when it's time for an annual check. Twice in the last 25 years we made a mistake by going with another company because others were offering very low cost inspections. It was a mistake because neither of the other companies followed through with either a simple phone call or postcard reminder like they promised. No idea why it's so difficult. River City is exceptionally reliable and we are going to start specifically asking for our tech (Bob) to be a regular. Bob is so friendly and cordial; he knows our system and cares about us, so we trust him just as much as we trust River City.

Great experience with River City Heating & Cooling. I needed new furnaces and they were able to schedule the installation within a day. They professionally finished the installation hours ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend them!

Sara, Jeff, Brian, Alex and Jose were amazing. We called on a Thursday morning, freezing cold day to say our heater went out and we needed a new one. Sara was very helpful when we called the office and got us in touch with Jeff right away. Jeff was able to meet with us within the hour, came up with a plan and we had heat by 3:00 p.m. The next day Brian, Alex and Jose returned to finish the job, add the air cleaner and new ducts and vents to improve our system. This was our first experience with River City Heating and Cooling, and we are now customers for life.

I have always had excellent service from River City and this year was no exception. Stephen Begbie went out of his way to explain things to me, to answer questions and to perform the AC check and install my thermostat professionally and quickly. I highly recommend him and the company.

Called this morning, Tech came out at 3p. Repaired, paid and gone in under 2 hrs!!!! Contrel, you the man!!!! Best HVAC Tech ever! Highly recommend this company and ask for this Tech, he will take care of you. Very reliable, fast and honest!

These guys are awesome to work with.. Reasonably prices, arrived on time and did excellent job of installing our new A/C and furnace equipment. Whole crew where fun to work with. Would highly recommend them for any work needed or new equipment. Thanks to Brad and crew.
