If I could give them another 5 stars I would. Called them around 10 am, they said they could come between 1 - 5pm. They called at 2:30 saying they would be there in 20 minutes. They came, identified the problem, had it fixed by 4pm! Outstanding! Price as quoted, they had the parts on the truck ready to install. Great service all round! Highly recommended!

I called them after 3pm one day and had my unit fixed before 3pm the next day during a heatwave ! Great customer service, fast response time! I would recommend them and I will definitely call them for all my heating and AC needs!
I have had great experiences both times I have called Johnson HVAC our for service. Most recently my AC unit stopped blowing cold, I knew it was a capacitor and just didn’t have the time or materials to replace it. The service tech showed up the same day I called, confirmed it was the cap, replaced it in under an hour and charged me a very reasonable rate. They are polite and honest people. Will only use their service.
I have utilized Johnson Heating and Cooling for over 15 years. During that time I have always received prompt,professional and courteous service. When I have needed advice or assistance outside of my regular service checks the reaction has always been more than timely.
I deal mostly with Nathan who continues to amaze me with his knowledge of all aspects of HVAC. He has kept my unit operating at peak performance and when there is a need for work he analyzes the problem correctly and makes any needed repairs, first time every time. Tracy is always very courteous and helpful listening to my problem and doing her best to get me scheduled.
I have also found Carol to be very helpful and most recently I met Cody and Justin who were also very courteous and capable members of the staff.
I have no hesitation in recommending Johnson Heating and Cooling. they truly deserve all 5 stars.

Everything thing was completed in the time frame given, all questions answered, and everything cleaned up before they left. Our project was to convert from LP to natural gas which created additional issues but everything was resolved as soon as possible. Great company to do business with, we highly recommend them.
Johnson came out and installed a complete new system in my home yesterday. Everything from the servicemen to the equipment to the clean and neat appearance of the installation was first rate. No corners were cut, and all of my expectations were met and exceeded. I most highly recommend them.
I met with Shawn, as I did with 5 other companies when pricing out my new unit. He was professional, upfront about costs and the needs of my home based on what I wanted to spend and what I wanted to get out of the unit purchased. I find that commendable, he was not trying to just make a sale, he was working out the best options for my needs. I spoke to both of the women in the office and they were both as well informed as any of the service staff that came on site to do the work, I am impressed that there wasn't a lot of relay of questions and got me what I needed quickly.
The team were on site as planned and got to work and were professional, fast, knowledgeable and not only training someone while on site they were giving me tips and tricks to get through a hot summer at the same time. They all mirrored the most important facts in their own words when I would ask questions or as they reviewed the thermostat and new set up with me, so I was glad to know the information is consistent across the board. the Trane speaks for itself, she's perfect and got here just in time for a St Louis summer!
Did a fantastic job replacing our ac unit the very next day to ensure that my 4 kids did not have to deal with the heat. They were fast, professional, and caring. You can definetly tell they value their customers , and we will be continuing to use them for all of our have needs.
The courtesy of Johnson Heating and Cooling is above average but the service I received was less than acceptable. Although they are reasonably quick their honesty/service/knowledge is to say the least inadequate. A large part of service, in my opinion, is honesty and knowledge. The service technician informed me that the low voltage wire needed to be replaced and that would require an electrician because the current wire was ran thru the walls. At the time that seemed reasonable to me, until the electrician came and ran a new low voltage wire right thru the attic vent along with the other wires coming from the air handler. This resulted in two service calls being paid one to Johnson Heating and another to the electrician. The electrician was extremely surprised why the technician didn’t simply run the wire while he was there. I have since spoken to two other HVAC repair companies and they too were surprised. Needless to say if that was all, I would not have bothered to write a review but there is much more. Johnson was called to complete the repair after the electrician installed the wire. Johnson then informed me that the coils on the indoor air handler was damaged allowing refrigerant to leak out and causing the low refrigerant alert to shut the unit down. I was told parts were no longer available for my eight year old York unit. The friendly technician suggested I call the office to purchase a new system. I researched this myself and found that not only are replacement parts still available there is class action settlement from York with regards to defective air handler coils manufactured between 2008 and 2012. I further learned that as part of this settlement, replacement parts are not only available but covered. The rest of this review is my personal opinion based on these two service calls. With such a large class settlement to a product they service I believe Johnson Heating should have and very possibly did know of this class settlement but instead of providing honest service tried to maximize their earnings by selling the customer a new unit that they did not need and I considered that very poor service or incompetence. As a Christian and a small business owner it is important that I any review I write be truthful and factual so before posting I shared this review with the owner, Tracy, to check my facts. She was friendly and apologetic but neither of those nice qualities would have replaced the hole in my wallet had I taken their advice. In all fairness, Tracy did acknowledge that while her company services all brands, she is not a York dealer and her technicians would not necessarily know issues like this unless it was the brand they sell. I’ve read over twenty positive reviews and beside this review only found one negative review. I do not recommend Johnson Heating and AC and if you are looking for a service provider I hope this review along with the others will help you to make a more informed decision.
They were so nice and scheduled us in very quickly when we called because our AC wasn't keeping up. Very professional when he came for the appointment and explained everything and didn't mind my pups running about :) Will definitely use in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
On the morning of the polar vortex I awoke to find our furnace not working. I was afraid we were not going to be able to get anyone out and even if we could, the rate was going to be as bad as the weather. I reached out to Johnson Heating and Cooling and they had a technician out within two hours. In addition, the price was amazing for the service received, especially on a day when it would have been easy to gouge. Our technician Nathan was not only quick to find and fix the issue, but was extremely courteous and answered all of my questions. I can not recommend this company high enough. Thank you Nathan and Johnson Heating and Cooling!
