Our home warranty sent the company “Masters climate and comfort” to our home, due to ice being located on our pipes and the air conditioning no longer blowing cold air; When we answered the door the guy’s manner was very unwelcoming. After taking a look at the unit for less than 2 minutes; Instead of fixing the issue the technician gave us a bogus story about the air filter needing to be replaced! (At that point we knew he didn’t have a clue, because we had just replaced our air filter the previous month) So we did just that and replaced the air filter again, however still no air conditioning! So we then hired our own technician who informed us that the motor is completely out and needs to be replaced! I wouldn’t recommend this company at all! They are unprofessional! Please don’t waste your time!
Also it is 100 degrees outside and this is our 2nd week with no a/c!

When you find the real deal (which is SO hard to find) I really want to pass my positive experience along as best I can.
My history with Heating and Air companies over the years have been mostly awful. I usually have the sense that I'm being up-sold and ripped off due to my illiteracy when it comes to anything mechanical.
In our recent case, we were sitting ducks. Our 17 year old AC stopped blowing cool air with the heat index off the charts. We were sure we would have to make an expensive and ill-timed investment for a new AC or big repair.
A trusted plumber we really appreciate, recommended Masters so we called him the next morning. He came that afternoon! He presented as very authentic and kind. In no time, he got right to the problem. Certain I was about to pay thousands, he got us going in less than an hour for $134.
While he could have said anything about the need for more future expense or a need for a new conditioner, I had to be the one to ask if he sold and installed AC's. He pushed nothing. This will be our guy from here on.

My wife and I witnessed a company truck aggressively tailgating and flashing his high beams at a driver on the highway. We got a pic of the license plate and the logo on the side. When we called the number the owner answered. He was the one behind the wheel. He got immediately defensive and angry. He accused me of being the driver he was tailgating, and then called me back leaving an angry voice-mail. Not very professional. While I havent used this service you can be sure if I ever need HVAC work ill get it done elsewhere.
