    Eric and Kalia were a GREAT team. I was able to schedule a time that worked with my work schedule and they arrived right on time! They wore a mask inside and used foot covers to keep my light colored carpet clean. I would highly recommend Standard Heating and Air Conditioning for your start of the heating season tune up!

    Very timely with their visits. I pay the monthly service plan and they call every quarter to come out for visit to check on my A/C and furnace. I really like the fact that they call me, so I don't forget to have this equipment checked. My sense is you pay a bit of a premium to use Standard, but it's very much worth it. The "value" they are selling is their expertise and service. I really appreciate their professionalism. I'd recommend them.

    Made an appointment for AC inspection and tune-up. Was told that they would come a week later and gave me 11a-2p window.

    At 2p on the day of my appointment I called to ask where the tech was. Was told that he would be unable to make it due to scheduling problems.

    I asked why I didn’t get a courtesy call to inform me that this was the case. I got an apology but didn’t get what I required, and what I required was an acceptable solution.

    The solution offered was to reschedule for the following week, or have someone come by later that evening. I explained that I had arranged for the time off from work to accommodate this appointment and was unavailable in the evening. I had an appointment with Standard and should have been given better priority.

    I understand service call problems that can result in delays and cancellations. I don’t accept the lack of a courtesy call informing me that I would be inconvenienced. I waited around all day, and know that if I hadn’t called, they never would have bothered to call me at all to even offer the option to reschedule.

    HVAC companies are a dime a dozen. These guys all hire quality techs and they all offer high quality products. What separates them from the pack is the service. The common courtesy to value a person’s valuable time. They already ask you to make yourself available for their relatively large window, the least they can do is keep their word and honor their appointment. And if they can’t, let your customer know so they don’t waste more of their valuable time.

    If you’re asking me to recommend Standard, I never will. I’ll relate this incident to anybody looking for HVAC service.

    Received call from Tim at Standard and Tim patiently allowed me to tell my story without interrupting or making any excuses. I believe his intention was to make things right. Although I found another local company to complete the work I required, I did appreciate that Standard took responsibility for this incident and reached out.

    I will amend to my comment about recommending Standard by including Tim’s follow up call and sincere concern. I believe it does show that Standard is a quality operation and does hire quality people with integrity. Mistakes happen. That’s all this was.

    Today Sam and Deacon stopped over to fix part of the humidifier. They were friendly, quick, and answered my questions about future maintenance. In addition, the standard heating front office/scheduling staff is always nice and helpful.

    I have trusted this company for many years and highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality honest service. I had Casey Gliem come out for my annual AC tune up and he let me know that my AC is 27 years old and mentioned that I should be proactive and not wait for it to quit on me when it’s 100 degrees! I appreciate his honesty and help with setting up a time for someone to come out and show me my options. This is why I do business with this company.
