We had mini-split units installed by Mike from Carlson. Mike was outstanding right from the beginning. He communicated when he would be out to work and followed through as planned. His attention to detail was impressive, from planning location of our new A/C units to maximize aesthetics and function while also keeping cost in mind. His hard work and thoughtfulness resulted in a quality product and seamless installation that blended in with the outside of our house. The turn around time was great - same day quote followed by install 1 week later. Would highly recommend!

Extremely good work. Another family member went with another company in the area which gave me a unique opportunity to compare. The quality of work and components (referencing the piping, securing of piping etc.) placed into your home by Carlson are clearly superior and of higher quality than the other companies install at my family members house. Team that conducted the install at my home clearly know their profession and conducted themselves as professionals. They walked me through everything they did and why both before they started and after completion. 10/10

I called this company for a simple plumbing job, we set a schedule but they never showed up or called. I was later told to call the "good" Carlson plumbing company in Duluth, Carlson Brothers.

I recently had a hot water heater go out at my home. I contacted almost every plumbing company in Duluth, and Carlson Duluth was by far the most responsive, professional, and helpful. They listened to my needs and gave a very reasonable quote. They even moved around their schedule to get my new water heater installed sooner. The installers were great. They arrived in clean company vehicles and were professional from beginning to end. After the installation, they cleaned their workspace, turned off the lights, and even locked the door behind them. Best of all, my quote was perfectly accurate down to the penny. No 'add-ons', 'additional parts' or 'fees'. I could not have had a better experience. Thanks guys!

Carlson Duluth Company.
Took my father of 2100$ for a failed furnace install requested in April. They took a downpayment (2600$ and returned 560$) for the replacement furnace. Without a signed work order or invoice. The installers broke his water pipes. Said the exhaust pipe for his house was “crushed”. (It was not) Replacement cost well into thousands of dollars. They billed HIM for their negligence and mistakes. He couldn’t afford it as he is retired and disabled. After several months and failed attempts he fired them. The installers happily bought his collector H3 for less then value so he could pay the bill. As of today he is without a furnace. And its N.MN. Spoke with the owner, they said they would compensate him this was over a week ago. No check showed up. Gonna be hearing from a lawyer. BBB has been notified. And what a nice thing to do to a retired disabled guy.

Carlson Duluth Company took care of our family in the dead of winter. We had a 27 year old furnace that died on a -11F day. Carlson Duluth came out and diagnosed the problem and set our house up with heaters. We ended up purchasing a new furnace because it was needed. Their staff was professional, responsive, and answered all questions that I had asked. They even corrected issues that were not their issues because it was needed. I would highly recommend their company to anyone reading this. Get it done right!

Glen and Scott were amazing! They took the time to troubleshoot the complicated system at my business. They located the problem and got the parts in overnight. All the repairs were completed fast and under warranty.
I have dealt with many of the other heating and cooling companies in Duluth. I only call Carlson Duluth now. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Had a new natural gas hot water heater installed today, Carl and Zach were very professional and installed new water heater quickly. The cost was exactly what I was quoted. Awesome job and many thanks for a great job.

I was looking for advice on what type of fuel to use and the sales staff helped me pick out the right boiler and furnace for the job! It was really helpful to know exactly what I was getting before it was installed and the process was super smooth. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a new furnace!

Great customer service and a very happy owner of a furnace! My situation was handled within the next business day.

Received an new furnace that went so smooth, recieved a bill and paid in full upon receiving the bill. Great service, but I was having issues with my kitchen sink so I also got service for kitchen plumbing and this is where I have issues. I never recieved a bill, for a plumb job that happened in July, until a call today, december. Says I own $700+ for an hour of work and less than $75 of materials. I was there the duration of the job and it took less than an hour, I'm being bill for 7.5 hours at $99 an hour. Make sure you get a quote and your quote is honored. Very unhappy and uneasy and this is a bill that came out of nowhere as a newer sinlge homeowner at 25 years old. I plan accordingly and this is unethical for someone who budgets and prepares for unexpected finances.
