Do not use Carlson Brothers. They flip flop prices and will charge you for work that was never provided. They will order the wrong type of waterheater then change the price. You will go without hot water for 1 week and a half. They will lie to your home warranty company too. Then after everything is settled they will send an un itemized bill for an air vent that they never installed because you did it yourself. Very hostile and unprofessional. Call someone else.
My husband and I were highly displeased with Carlson Bros. We used them for a water heater replacement and they left the place much worse than when it started. There was a path of standing water out of our basement and on our wooden basement stairs, including a rusty ring from the old water heater. There was dirt on our washing machine and mud by the water heater from their boots. My husband wasn't home when they were working because they were late and he had to go to work. We had to hire a professional cleaner. While they didn't need to clean the leaking water from the old heater, they didn't need to leave the place in such a state. They clearly didn't test the water heater before leaving as when we tested it, dirty water came out first. When we contacted the company, they finally called us back a few days later. We presented pictures to show the condition. The individual my husband talked to (one of the owners I believe) laughed at my husband's remarks and mocked him. We asked simply for reimbursement for the cleaning and they are now ignoring us. Highly disappointed and will never use this company again. Spreading the word in the Northland about the poor service of Carlson Bros 😖
Good job, expensive. If you haven't called a plumber before be aware that there is a 30.00 if you pay after 15 days (I am probably at day 16). Also, a 2.5% charge for using a credit card. Is it worth it? Phone call to clear things up? Got a friendly response. So, yes, worth it, but be aware.
This company has been very reliable at times when we really needed help, including once when our boiler failed, and another time when our sewer line to the street became plugged. On each occasion, Carlson Brothers worked tirelessly to get our systems back, and they did it courteously and with good humor.
I hired this company to do some plumbing work on a bathroom and kitchen job. They were super nice and came over to the job t he following week. Today I get the bill and I am charged almost 2000 dollars for a days work. $144.00 An hour overtime? They were there 6 hours. Truck surcharge $10×4 ??? AVOID this company. This is not a good way to do business at all!
I called because I had a leak. Not sure from what. Troy not only fixed the immediate problem, he gave his professional opinion when I asked "what about the rest of the pipes?" He fixed everything, called me if he had questions, and left the place spotless when the job was complete.

Fast, professional, and relatively reasonably priced. What else is needed in a plumber?
