Air conditioning stopped working during the first heatwave of the year (of course). Other companies said we would have to wait 3 weeks for someone to come out. John was able to come out the same weekend and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Extremely happy with SG Heating and Cooling and will absolutely be calling them for any future heating/cooling needs.

I called Friday afternoon and John came right out first thing Saturday morning and got my furnace back up and running in no time. He was super friendly, professional and honest. S&G was recommended to me by my neighbors and I will now be recommending them as well!

Great service Great price. Very impressed. They were even able to quote me without coming into the home, keeping covid in mind. Looked up the sq ft of my home online and asked for specific pictures of our unit before recommending product. Gave me a great price on a new furnace and AC. Installed in under four hours. Even submitted the rebates for consumers and dte for you. Highly recommend this company.

John gave a price that could not be beat, they also handled all the rebates that were sent to me by DTE and Consumers Powers. Everything I have read about Ruud being good equipment, seems to be true. I received a statement in the mail from DTE, and from May 21st to June 19th 2020 we used 727 kWh, and from May 21st June 21st 2021 (for unknown reason 2021 has 2 more days of service included) we used 561 kWh, which the statement said was a reduction of 22%. I would recommend S & G to anyone.

Original AC of 20+ years gave out on our family in the midst of these 90 degree days. We have a baby at home, so comfort is a priority.

Nothing but praise for John and his company. They booked us for a 1000 appointment and they were prompt at our doorstep at 0945. John and Dave introduced themselves and went straight to work. Very knowledgeable in their craft. The two installed whole new AC unit, hauled the old one away, installed a new humidifier solenoid, and WiFi thermostat in an hour and a half. That’s very proficient work. Being in the field of work that I’m in, I’m very impressed.

Prices of install and haul away are the best in the area. I called at least 8 companies in the surrounding South Lyon/Northville/Brighton area, and SG Heating and Cooling had our business during the first phone call. They were kind enough to drive from the West Bloomfield area to South Lyon without any hesitation.

My experience with Michelle when calling SG Heating and Cooling was very pleasant. She even ordered a new humidifier for us a couple of days before our appointment just in case we needed a new one. John saw that we didn’t need a new humidifier and just fixed the solenoid. Honesty, another quality of a good company.

The transition from the R22 refrigerant to the new refrigerant seems to be a big thing in the field. Initially, we thought of just fixing the problem in our old unit, but we didn’t think sinking hundreds of dollars would be worth it. Speaking with SG Heating and Cooling made it easy for us to justify getting a new AC unit.

Extremely fair pricing and an unbeatable warranty. Go with these guys, you won’t regret it.

John did an excellent job installing my new furnish at a fair price. He was personable and accommodated my very busy schedule. My wife and I came home to our house feeling quite cold on a night and we knew our furnace was old so we called SG Heating & Cooling first thing in the next day. They were out that very same day to assess the situation and showed me exactly how everything worked inside and what was broken. I was given different options on what the price to repair the old furnace would and the price of a new furnace options as well. I knew the right choice was to go with a new high-efficiency furnace, after I was told about the rebates from DTE and Consumers Energy from switching to a high-efficiency that I would receive as well. Everything was installed Monday morning very quickly and I received notice that my rebate information was received by DTE and Consumers Energy within a day (they filed everything for me). I HIGHLY recommend SG Heating & Cooling for great, timely work and a fair price!
