Comfort Plus, LC Heating and Cooling

We had Comfort Plus out this past week to replace our furnace and AC. We called a few companies out for quotes but, Chris stood out from the rest. He was highly recommended by our friends. He spent time answering all my husband’s questions as well as explaining the Carrier products. Also, liked the fact that they are 4 star certified! Nate and Kevin showed up ON TIME, were VERY PROFESSIONAL, and POLITE. I have worked in the City of Troy for the past 33yrs with the public and have lived here for 19yrs and just have to say how extremely impressed I was with this company and their crew. I will definitely recommend them to others.

I have called on Comfort Plus for a few years to help extend the life of my old furnace and AC. When it finally came time to replace them, Chris and his crew (Nick, Nathan, Nolan and Kevin) answered my many questions and installed the new systems quickly and efficiently. They walked me through how everything worked and cleaned up very well after themselves. It can be difficult to find good service these days, but Comfort Plus does not disappoint. The tech basically smacked my furnace with a wrench until it turned on again. Claimed it was a stuck gas valve and recommended replacement($600) or a new furnace($3500). I troubleshooted it myself with a multimeter and some simple research and it was the pressure switch not even the gas valve. Replaced the part for $30 and the furnace has been fine ever since. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. Horrible experience do not waste your time with these guys.

We have had Comfort Plus complete several projects at our home, including a natural gas generator. We knew who to call when we needed our A/C replaced. Another job well done!

We have used Comfort Plus Heating and Cooing on 3 occasion now. The first was an emergency call the morning that we were to leave for vacation when our hot water heater sprung a leak. Chris and his time replaced the system while were away. They also installed and new heating and AC system in my mother in laws condo. Recently, our AC unit of 22+ years had died and the furnace on an earlier inspection was on its last leg. We call Comfort Plus, received an estimate and approved the work order. Their team of technicians arrived ahead of the schedule. They took great care to insure that our personal belongings were protected during the installation. They were very professional and kept me up to speed as the installation progress. When completed, they lead technician walked me through the operation of the newly installed system. I would highly recommend comfort plus to anyone in need of a new heating/ cooling or hot water system.

Nothing but great things to say about this company. We just purchased a home and wanted to replace the dated (33 year old) furnace and A/C before it completely died on us. I had quotes from multiple companies in the area but Chris seemed to be the most down-to-earth and professional. His team was extremely friendly, clean, and helpful with any and all questions related to the process and function. As an authorized Carrier dealer, it made sense to go with Comfort Plus. I will be using them for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

I had an off brand furnace installed by a company who moved out of state. Four years later the furnace started to develop problems. It failed to start and the weather was getting cold in November. The original installer was gone. So, I called Comfort Plus through many recommendations..

All I can say is that I am extremely happy with the effort Chris and his team put into this job vs. what they charged. The technicians are top notch. They answered every one of my technical questions correctly and worked really hard. Chris did the same on his end with thorough research into the problem.

It took a few trips and some minor inconvenience. But, Comfort Plus fixed my problem before it became a BIG problem in Dec, Jan, and Feb.

We were very impressed with this company in the summer when our AC stopped working. They were friendly, honest, and very proficient. That being said, when our furnace started having issues, we didn't hesitate to call Comfort Plus for help again. They arrived within 30 minutes of calling. We were again thoroughly impressed and very happy with our service. Our problem was promptly identified and quickly fixed. We would recommend them to anyone! Thank you for saving us a second time!

New Carrier furnace and AC install was very fast and professional. Very happy overall. Since it's a review I'll nitpick and say the AC should probably come with a cover, and the open vent pipes should have screen covers to keep critters out. Thanks guys the AC feels great.
