I hired Doty mechanical to do a furnace inspection and tune up to make sure everything was working correctly after I just bought my first house. They were very responsive, professional, and great to work with! I worked with Jason who was great and explained everything to me as he completed the inspection. I highly recommend their services!

Requested a home visit to discuss both heat and cooling. Was visited and spent an hour plus going over the needs. Measurements were taken and options discussed verbally. A quote was to be offered. After about 4-5 weeks I emailed and called about the status of the quote. No response. 2nd attempt a couple weeks later and no response. Ran into the group at the Lansing home show and asked what happened and why I received no responses? They apologized and said they would call me the next week. 2-3 weeks go by no response. I then go online and did a live chat with someone stating the experience so far. they asked for my address which was given and I was told once again someone would be in touch with me...well you guessed it..no response. If Doty was not interested in the project I would expect at least that call. No call at all is not what any company should do in regards to customer service. Maybe they should review their mission claim on their website as it is all about customer service. I would be cautious about using this company.

I had my furnace inspection/cleaning completed and my whole house humidifier wasn't working. Sam visited and took care of everything. He was professional and super nice. Bree, the office person, was also very nice. I appreciate this company and would work with them again. Thanks!

I would give 10 stars if I were able. I worked with Heath on getting a new Geo-thermal unit installed at our house. He was polite, professional and most of all, knowledgeable. His crew arrived on time and did a fantastic job. Once the job was complete, they cleaned up nicely and thoroughly explained the new system. Their office staff even filled out all the paperwork for my consumers energy rebates, all I had to do was sign them. I can't say enough good things about this experience. I will be calling them for all of my future heating / cooling needs. Top notch

After receiving 4 bids from 4 great local companies, we had our new Infinity Series furnace and air conditioner installed by Doty. Not only was Pete (the "Sales & Estimator" guy) very personal, he was extremely knowledgeable about the products he was offering and just how each item would perform in our unusual house layout. When the installers (I'm sorry, No names, as I only met them briefly, as I work 3rd shift and they were pretty much in and out just after I got up in the afternoon.) came to perform the installation of everything, they wore protection over their shoes, were polite, fast and, this may sound goofy to some, but they cleaned up everything after they were done, to me, a detail of true worksmanship. I highly recommend Doty Mechanical, not just for the great equipment that they sell, but also because of their personnel. Oh, just realized that I didn't mention the price. While a couple of bids were really close, Pete's all-inclusive bid was the winner, as Carrier has one of the best consumer ratings out there as opposed to Lennox. The difference that this system makes was noticeable after just a couple of days. Instead of the AC or Furnace being on full blast, then off, the Infinity Series has many levels of settings that run constantly at very low energy settings, so your home stays at whatever temperature you set it at, no heating 'til way up, then cooling way down (or vice versa), it just maintains the temperature you want. The Thermostat is way cool, even gives you a 5-day weather forecast. And you can see and adjust everything on your cell phone too! The efficiency is top-of-the-line for both the AC & the Furnace, so you get really nice rebates from LBWL &/or Consumers Energy. Seriously, give these guys a call if you want to get a great price on either an AC unit and/or a new Furnace. You won't be sorry.

They took care of installing a new A/C. Best quote out of 5 different companies and they offered the Carrier I wanted. Very professional, punctual, kept everything clean and my A/C is working like a charm.
