A/C unit failed the Friday before Memorial weekend.. Called Riley for an appointment and they made one for the following Tuesday at noon. The technician came an hour early and had the system repaired (new starting capacitor) within the hour. This experience was typical of every unexpected need for service we have ever had with Riley over the years.

I am so disappointed in their service, and the manner my complaint was handled. They came out and delivered oil, which entailed removing the lock from our fence, and opening the gate to get to the tank. They filled the tank and left, didn't bother to close or lock the gate, which I noticed as I saw my dog walking down the driveway to the street. I called to complain and they just said to pay the bill and they will close the account. Seriously? Last I will do business with them.

We changed from kerose to propane and because we got a better deal on a furnace from where our son works, we stayed with you to purchase propane, still you wont buy back our kerosene. That is so disheartening. Especially since we have been with you for 25 yrs and still are. Not very costomer friendly!

They came two times in a 20 day period. They show up almost every month. I was charged $800 the month of February because they decidedto show up the 4th and the 24th. Insane. Going elsewhere. Their "advanced computer system" is a little to advanced for my liking. - Also. After I called them. I get an email from Mike - stating I need to pay my past balance or they are not giving me oil. Seems like a little fear mongering because he got a complaint. Rip off company.

Don't listen to the prior negative review , must be competition trying to cast a negative light due to jealousy etc.... I'm 62 and experienced many oil companies in my life time and I started with W.H.Reilly about 10 years ago and they are the best !!!

I live in a mobile home park 4 1/2 years old. I've never had a tune up done on my propane gas furnace because it was a new system. Since it was almost 5 years and $150 I was quoted I said well better do it. I change my filter once a month because of allergies. The service man comes and writes on the invoice he was there 1/2 hour. He was he walked outside to make sure there were no nests on my propane tanks, he came on with just a flashlight, opened the furnace door and looked around said everything seems to be ok NEVER took the metal screws out to vacuum inside the system to get out dust or bugs that was done for some of my neighbors and said I was all set. I said what about changing the filter since you did nothing else. He said well it's not reallly dirty and I said I should at least get something for my money. I reported this to Jean at the office who had the nerve to say "you just want to get ouit of paying the bill." I was furious. I work full time pay all my bills but $150 for doing nothing ???!!! She tried to rationalize this ridiculous situation. By the way the filter is $20. So if you are planning a "tune-up" tell them you want in writing what's going to be done and think. If you can change a filter no need. She said well if something goes wrong in the middle of the night I hope you can fix it. I said of course not then you would be coming to do something. One thing I can say Riley is very good at is sending out bills promptly and making deliveries. If you are on a budget plan as I am and have excess $$$ at the end of the 10 months as I did $300+ I had to call and ask to get a check sent to me. When I said why don't you just use this money for the first fill up of the season. "Oh we don't do that". Yes because they want the interest. At our development we have no choice but to use this company. They put in the tanks when our homes are built and only do fills unless you call them for a "service call". I just went to re read my review and they had given it 4*s people I gave it one star!!!!!!

Last visit on7/10/2019. Follow up on AC problem with not cooling, Freon low. Tech's
Added a coloring agent to check for leaks. Two week check up, showed no leaks at this time. Since it is cooling properly now. We will wait a little longer. Keith who was the Tech that came 7/10, was very knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything.
