He was personable. I showed him the 2 corroded parts I wanted replaced on my hot water tank, he looked at them and the rest of the hot water tank plumbing and suggested replacing a breaker valve. He calculated the bill based on replacing these three parts to be $1050. and I agreed. When he finished and presented the bill it was $1315. which was $265. more than I had agreed to because he added what he said was replacing a shutoff valve to water heater. There was no shut off valve on the hot water heater before he put one on it, and this was not discussed or agreed to prior to him installing it. I found this upsetting and was disappointed that he did this. Poor business practice.

Peter was friendly and knowledgeable. He was responsive and helpful to get us started with some new upstairs plumbing. Will update review after work is finished.

Called Waldman's P & H to tune up an aging boiler system. Peter was courteous and got the job done efficiently.

Waldman Plumbing is as good as it gets when you are in need of a highly experienced plumber. They have serviced my high efficiency water heater, explained to me a few of the things that needed a tune up and then proceeded to take care of everything as was described. Their plumbers are very clean, super professional, extremely thorough and took all the necessary cautions during this COVID-19 time.

Their plumbing offices are in Lynn, but I do know that they service Reading, Winchester and even further west. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs something as simple as water heater service or on-demand water heater installation. Outstanding work!

Jeff Waldman (on phone) and Tim Marquis (in home repair) listened closely and analytically, and were familiar with the intricacies of our aging (ancient!) oil furnace & steam heat system. We learned we paid double what we should have on our last furnace repair, money that should have gone toward a new one, given eco credits available. Tim & his very polite apprentice Aaron (I think) made quick work of a steam pipe repair, fixed 2 faucets and figured out a hot water issue. Also helped us figure out steps for our upcoming bathroom repairs. Worth every penny, & we'll be calling again soon!
