J.A. Frederick Plumbing and Heating

Not sure how this company does any sort of business. This is the first review I have ever done but felt it was necessary to save other potential customers from wasting their hard earned money, valuable time and the feeling of frustration on a daily basis that has lasted months. We had them install heat pumps to our house to replace our oil heating. The job started in July of 2022 and is still not complete! We have had multiple leaks, electrical, and noise issues. They fired employees who installed the system so we thought things would be different once the owner, Jeff, came out to "right the wrongs" but nothing has changed. It is excuse after excuse on why he can't come out or says he will and then doesn't show up and doesn't communicate. I believe he has now blocked my wife's number and has informed his office manager to ignore her calls as well. This has been the worst experience and after spending $23,000 to get the system in place we wish we went with someone else.

If I could give a ZERO out of five I would.
I called in 12/30 because my heat wasn’t functioning properly. They sent someone out that afternoon. After taking apart the thermostat and leaving exposed wires, the technician couldn’t figure out the problem and said he would send out his manager. Manager showed up Tuesday 1/3 and did not fix it. Instead he said he would come back Friday 1/6 to complete the unfinished work. Friday came and went he didn’t show up nor did we receive a phone call to explain why. I call Tuesday 1/10, same “manager” answers the phone and claims he was sick and wanted to “make sure it wasn’t covid”. Apparently covid now takes away people’s ability to speak and dial a telephone. He goes on to say that he has us “penciled in” for that afternoon or the next day. AGAIN, no show and no phone call. All the while we have exposed wires and a malfunctioning heat system. Don’t waste your time with this company since they apparently don’t respect anyone else’s.

We had a major main line sewer leak in the basement ,I called JA Frederick plumbing and he sent someone out within an hour ,the leak was found and the proper repairs were made I am immensely happy with the repair and the price ,I would recommend him to all my friends .This was my first time using this plumber and will be my only plumber ,thank you so much for your prompt ,professional service .

I was very happy with the service I received. They were professional and super conscious. They fixed my kitchen drain and correct the problem so it would not happen again. Highly recommend!
