The communication was excellent with precise estimated arrival times and good explanations of the required repair… in our case rebuild a shower mixing valve. We highly recommend Papalia. The cost was average for good plumbing work.

Dan did a great job determining the problem. He had the thermostat in the back of his truck and restored my heat in no time.

Dan H. is professional, knowledgeable, helpful and very patient. He came in after hours and was able to install a smart thermostat, which provided a temporary fix for my heating problems. He took the time to explain why the system was not working and acknowledged that mistakes were made and noted that his company would ensure that a permanent solution will be provided. He also explained in detail how the smart thermostat works and helped set up the App on my phone. I highly recommend Dan and I believe he represents his company well.

I am very glad that I choose papalia home services after I met with Joe and Nicole for the estimate. They were very honest. They gave me an estimate and they stuck to it, even when the job had more challenges such as a crawl space. They did 5 new re-wired outlets for my new kitchen and even the city inspector was so amazed of their neat work.They always arrived on time, they keep the area clean, they were corteous and very neat doing their job. I will highly recommend them not 100 instead 1000%. Even my dogs love them.. Papalia needs more electricians like Joe and Nicole. Nicole always doble check to be sure everything was right. Joe worked around the cabinets contractor to be sure one of the outlets were on the right place. Is not any other words that I can use that will be enough to describe their work! Excellent job!

Jalynn did a great job scheduling the work, really easy and flexible. I liked the way Nick patiently explained what he was doing as well as what the options were once he diagnosed the issue. He did the work unbelievably fast!

Papalia services were great . They were open when I needed them . Louis the technician and his helper (didn’t get his name) were very informative about what I should do with my water heater which was leaking. Price was reasonable.I highly recommend this company.

I would give Mike and Cam 42 stars if I could! They are wonderful. Another large local company originally installed my Rinnai heat and hot water on demand system and they have been very difficult to work with. When my heat and hot water went out during a recent cold spell, and the prior company couldn't come for days, when they did finally show up they misdiagnosed the problem and gave be bad information. They said the whole system would have to be completely replaced for $18K!!! $18,000!!! They claimed the heat exchanger was bad and not under warranty anymore, which were both wrong. I reached out to Papalia for a second opinion thank goodness. When Mike and his protege Cam showed up, Mike said he was going to investigate the problem before jumping to any conclusions. His expertise allowed him to find the real culprit - a pinhole corrosion leak that was affecting the sensors - not the expensive heat exchanger! Parts needed to be ordered, but we needed a bandaid fix to hold us until the work could be completed. He came up with a temporary patch to kept us comfortable until the complete (and correct) fix could be completed. Mike's attention to detail, knowledge of the complex system and persistence to find exactly what was causing the issue was exceptional. Mike's ability to do this while mentoring Cam was a rare thing to witness in these times. It gives me hope for the future. Both Mike and Cam were professional and a pleasure to have in my home. I am so happy that I called Papalia and I feel so lucky that Mike and Cam came to my rescue!

Nick was very helpful and professional with my clogged laundry sink. He assessed the situation, determined a solution and clearly gave a cost proposal. Nick thoroughly repaired the issue in a timely fashion and was able to answer all my questions. Pleasure to work with.

I have used this organization before. I am happy with service and quality of technicians. This time I felt they were too expensive. Coming into the job at hourly rate and turning to do the job at fixed rates by task. Not too appreciated. Overall very expensive. When I told them I ran a computer service company and your rates are higher than a computer service company. I was told Plumbers are higher priced than computer Engineers. I am ok but unhappy with charges. I am trying to be as honest as possible. Thanks

I was perfectly happy with the service itself. Mike has been here before, working on the furnace, and was as usual professional and friendly. My complaint is about the price, which I did agree to in advance. $1400 for roughly 2 hours of labor. There we're some parts, but these were basic plumbing valves, my guess is they didn't cost more than $150. But this amounts to something like $600 an hour, which seems exorbitant.I know there are expenses (vans, tools, support organization), but this seems pretty steep.
